According to another group I visit there is allegedly a spokesperson for FMLL and he has stated that for the January 20th show Rocky will be bringing La Parka,
Mistico,Damian 666,Halloween,and that they are trying
real hard to bring Atlantis and Ultimo Guerrero for that
date as well.I am skeptic about Ultimo Guerrero and Atlantis.For one there are just too many name wrestlers already announced on the card.Second Atlantis has turned rudo in Mexico city and is teaming with Ultimo Guerrero,but the casual fan here in Chicago doesn't know that and I for one don't want to see Atlantis and Ultimo Guerrero face each other in a match
then turn on Galavision next weekend and see them all
buddy buddy.I think Rocky Roman should just stick to trying to get Damian,Halloween,La Parka and Mistico to
Chicago and not try to promise more than he can deliver
on his cards.As it is I am extremely skeptical about his
ability to bring Mistico.Right now he is the most sought after wrestler in Mexico so getting him to Chicago will be very difficult.

HALLOWEEN WILL NOT BE AT THE CONGRESS THEATER ON JANUARY 20TH.
According to the Box y Lucha website Halloween suffered some serious injuries in a hair vs hair match against Universo Dos Mil on December 2nd.He was taken to the hospital and under
went five hours of surgery.The rehab process is said to be about one year,and at this stage it
is still to early to say if Halloween will actually be able to wrestle again.Halloween suffered injuries his knee as well as his neck courtesy of a piledriver.

OK Here is more info I have been able to dig up for this show.
It has been pushed back to January 29th,probably to accomodate wrestlers' schedules and avoid booking conflicts with Arena Mexico.
The Main event is being booked as:
Mistico and La Parka
vs.
Dr Wagner Jr and Averno.
Also Eddie Carranza has authorized to give out this number:
[312]670-9781
He is seeking to book female wrestlers for the January 29th show.If you are a female wrestler or know any female wrestlers who would be interested in working this show please contact
Eddie Carranza.The Congress is seeking well trained women who know how to work in the ring.They aren't interested in women who engage in those five minute catfights in a ring just to be clear on this subject.
By the way,if anyone was wondering what happened with the lucha show in Waukeegan on the 18th of December apparantly the owner of the venue pulled the plug on them almost at the last minute citing he needed to use LAS LOMAS for his own needs.As far as I'm concerned
this was a dirty stunt and I hope no one blames anyone involved in putting the lucha show
together.Had the owner not done this the show would've gone on as planned.

This will be the show to see.No washed up has beens in the main event,all the workers will be
in their prime.

I'm curious...how would any of you feel about seeing name female wreslters at the Congress?
The reason I ask is it seems that Eddie wants to back down from the idea.Apparantly it's too
expensive.No problem whatsoever in paying Silueta Azul.That's right they booked him on the card.Now if you would rather much see first rate female wrestlers than some tenth rate Blue Demon wannabe please call Eddie Carranza at that number and let him know you are interested in seeing top of the line female wrestlers.Thanks.

There will be a change in the undercard lineup.Piloto Suicida was scheduled to wrestle this show but apparantly an injury will have him sidelined for quite awhile.I still haven't gotten word on who will replace him.
