King of the Cage will make its first appearance in Illinois on Feb. 17 when "Rumble on the River" takes place at The MARK of the Quad Cities, a 10,000-seat venue in Moline. The event will feature at least 12 bouts and be shown two weeks later on a 3-hour pay-per-view.
Many bouts are still being finalized, but here are some...
Shonie Carter vs. Jason Black
Charles "Crazy Horse" Bennett vs. Jeff Curran
Trevor Garrett vs. Terry Martin
Joe Jordan vs. John Strawn

Will be interesting to see who from Team Hellfire (Gilbert Grappling) will be fighting... Would love to see some more Tommy Lee.

I thought MMA was banned in Illinois, or was it just Ultimate Fighting?

I thought MMA was banned in Illinois, or was it just Ultimate Fighting? MMA=Ultimate Fighting This past year the ban was lifted, with help from a few local promoters. In fact there are a couple of promotions running in Illinois. -LpJ

Well then why the hell hasn't UFC run a card in Chicago yet? That stuff would draw here.

I heard that MMA will run a show in Milwaukee on Feb 24.I don't know who is on the card yet.
