SHIMMER - WOMEN ATHLETES will hold its next DVD taping on Sunday, February 12th, at the Eagles Club (6309 26th Street) in Berwyn, IL, just outside Chicago. All seats will be just $10 general admission, and will be available at the door.
Volumes 3 & 4 of the SHIMMER - WOMEN ATHLETES DVD series will be filmed during the course of the taping, featuring over a dozen live matches in all! Keep your eyes peeled to the SHIMMER web site during the coming weeks for announcements concerning the talent lineup for the 2/12 taping. If you're in the Chicagoland area, be sure to join us for two DVDs worth of live women's pro wrestling action!
The first SHIMMER DVD release, SHIMMER Volume 1, will be available shortly from Ring of Honor, both at their live events as well as at www.rohwrestling.com/ online. The inaugural SHIMMER DVD, priced at just $15, will feature Lacey vs. Daizee Haze, Mercedes Martinez vs. Sara Del Rey, Allison Danger vs. Beth Phoenix, Cheerleader Melissa vs. MsChif, Ariel vs. Rain, Christie Ricci vs. Lexie Fyfe, Team Blondage vs. Cindy Rogers & Nikki Roxx, Shantelle Taylor vs. Tiana Ringer, and a bonus feature of Lacey vs. Sara Del Rey from the 11/5/05 ROH event in Chicago Ridge, IL. Expect Volume 1 to hit later this month!

The DVD of SHIMMER Volume 1 is scheduled to be delivered to Ring of Honor this coming weekend. They may have copies available at the live events in Dayton and Cleveland if the shipment arrives before the crew heads to Ohio. The DVD will be available for purchase online at ROHwrestling.com in this week's update, for shipping when the offices re-open on Monday morning, 1/30.

The midwest tag team duo of Lacey & Rain, who together comprise "The Minnesota Home Wrecking Crew," have issued an open challenge to the roster of SHIMMER - WOMEN ATHLETES. In a video message taped this past Saturday at Ring of Honor in Cleveland, Lacey stated that she and Rain are at their best when teaming with one another, and they will take on any tag team that are willing to answer the challenge on 2/12 in Berwyn, IL for SHIMMER Volume 3.
