I live near Midlo, and I attend IWA and I really enjoy their shows. Can anyone tell me if I might enjoy this show? Come on WCPW people, sell me on this.

Bump on that Acid Jazz statement. A very good worker and even a better person.

OK, so I went last nite, and they give acid jazz like 8 minutes, what I saw of him I liked, but the matches were much too short. Also, bell time was 8, not 7:30. It was very old school, and mildly entertaining, but I'll stick to IWA. The wrestler did bust their asses for the most part, and I applaud them for that.

Did they announce a return date to Midlothian? I wasn't at the show last night.

One of the current problems with indy wrestling is the fact that the matches are just too long. No indy match should go more than 10minutes unless its a title or than can be an exception here and there. That all goes back to workrate. Most of these indy guys dont have that type of conditioning to put on a hot 8min match. I know that Jazz can cuz I worked him once last year. People who come to these shows have short attention spans as must of us do. When you watch TNA they usually always go under 10. I realize that they have T.V. time to deal with, but their workrate is off the charts. AAW & AWA SLAM= fast workrate & CCW=slower workrate, it just depends what you are a fan of.

Me, I would rather see 6 well worked 12 minute matches, than 10 5 minutes matches. I want to see a story in a match, and 5 minutes usually just isn't enough time to tell a compelling story. Just my opinon.
Plus they had no tag team matches last nite, what's up with that?

If its no more than 12min worked at a high rate(which is hard for most indy workers) than I can be cool with that. Example, On The Mat showed a match from BCW with Steve Corino and Dinn T Moore that went over 20 minutes and was horrible. I don't care if it had Steve Corino or not, it was garbage. The workrate was pathetic.
