Talon, look at the guys you have just named in the "Chicago Boys". Alto Hayes Tyme Down How long have those guys been in the business. I have nothing against any of those guys. I think Alto is a hot commodity. We all know how I feel about Tyme, but c'mon, you are lumping those with Chicago guys as a whole, your argument has more holes in it than my face! I've come on here and put over NGW numerous times, however, you come on here and associate yourself with them and it makes me want to take back everything I have ever said about those guys, simply because you make some retarded ass claims. I can understand if these guys were working Priest, Boz, Danny Daniels, and Chandler.......but you say they have worked Tristan Hayze, and now they can hang with Chicago guy! ABSURD! I'm not saying Chicago is the end all be all of wrestling in the Midwest, but dude, Chciago is the best place to get trained and/or work quality guys in IL. Plain and simple. Oh and BTW, just because you work for a fed doesnt mean they are the best fed in the world.....Thats my Gimmick

... This thread is still going on?
Talon. I'm sorry, bud. But you don't know wrestling all that well. Get over it, or get through it.
EastMan. From what I understand, Talon's involvement in NGW wasn't much. Please don't let one bad apple spoil the bunch... of oranges.
Tobi. Run your show better and you don't have to worry about anyone elses. Let the product sell itself if you think that everyone else downstate sucks so bad. There is nothing wrong with taking the high road.

Joey - I have never understood your love for NGW. Well, when I go to a show, where I dont know anyone on the show, and have never seen them work before, I normally expect poo. I got there, and the first 3 matches, were jjust that......poo. The Decataur kids suck. The 2nd half of the show was really entertaining, and I was impressed. There is the reason for my love

i've worked quality chicago guys and i agree.. professional training is a very important thing often overlooked by ALOT of wrestlers. not just in central illinois but all over. these are the guys that are just doing it to call themselves wrestlers. people that think hey i've been wrestling for 2 years i dont need to train i just can work in the show also dont get the big picture. although its hard for alot of people to get to chicago to train on a weekly basis.

yeah i worked Nigel. one of the nicest guys i've ever worked. yes he killed me. but i didnt back down from any of it. the coolest thing i thought about him was after his final match with Hero (that was awesome) the first thing Nigel did when he got to the back was appoligize to me that he and I only got to talk for about 5 minutes while hero and him got 2 hours to talk. for him to do that to a nobody like me meant maybe for just a night i earned his respect by taking an ass kicking.
i dont know if this is the whole match or not but if you watch it keep in mind i hadnt even been wrestling for a year at the time the match took place. i was filling in for someone that didnt show up. not a bad deal if you ask me.

Tobi. Run your show better and you don't have to worry about anyone elses. Let the product sell itself if you think that everyone else downstate sucks so bad. There is nothing wrong with taking the high road. Run my shows better? No problem. Step #1: Never book NMW, GAW or 3CW "talent". My product just got better 100 times over.

To those of you who think I'm affliated with ANY promotion: I'm not. I have been affliated with RCW,WWA, & NGW; but currently not affliated with anyone. I just give alot of respect to the local fed because that's not only the right thing to do, but I feel some of the talent truly deserves it. Now then; I never said I was the most knowledgeable person on indy wrestling. I just know what I see & what I hear. I go by that as well as actual facts on things. Sure I have an odd opinion on certain things, but that's what makes this America...the right to express it openly. Alot of you think that I know nothing or little. Hey that's fine because the majority of you truly know nothing about me. I do respect those of you who have been in longer & who do actually know more. Joey, I said that they have worked some Chicago guys...did I say they were all "top notch" by your standards? No I did not. I still believe that Brett can hang with any high flyer from the city that you throw at him though. I will even go as far as saying that Hazard (when playing heel) is one of the best heels I've seen in awhile. I may be judgemental to Chicago workers as most of them don't come down this way & it's a 3 hour drive to go to Chicago to see them unless they are more local. For that I apologize. I guess that there is also alot of talent there that I am not seeing. My point is that this is all the same sport & we need to get along during this dark time & pull together or we're going to lose even more of the crowd.

Actually if you go by population of a city & the percentages...WWA drew better than most of the Chicago feds. Just tit for tat on the whole f'n thing!
