PWP Fans, Panic Attack is in the books - and what an awesome night it was!
The night was full of incredible action from top to bottom, highlighted by two amazing title matches.
Here is the full rundown:
* Michael Strider continued his brutal undefeated streak with a big win over Joey Daniels. Joey gave his all, and put up a good fight, but in the end, Strider's Cradle of Death caused a quick and sickening ending.
* "The Passion" Zac James picked up an impressive win against Matty Fitness when he hit his "Revelations" top rope 180 senton. After the match, Sean Cruz came out, and told Matty what a dork he thinks he is. Sean offered to teach Matty how to be "cool" - which Matty gladly accepted.
* Tyler Pride made his PWP debut, and actually scored a huge upset by just barely pinning the massive Chris Havius. Havius may have under estimated the new comer, and his cockiness was his downfall. After the match, Havius offered his hand to the rookie, which he accepted - Havius raised his opponent's arm in victory, only to blast him with a brutal clothesline, followed by his patented Chokebreaker.
* "Sensational" Sean Cruz, along with his apparent new protege, Matty Fitness, defeated Babyface after Matty hit Babyface with his belt. A tremendous match up that unfortunately couldn’t end with a clean victory - never the less, Cruz picks up the win.
* Max Magnus defeated Paul Daniels in a hard fought bout. Paul held his own, but in the end, Paul came at Max with a top rope cross body, which Max caught, and countered into his Jaw Jacker for the 1-2-3.
* "The Rebel" Jeremy Wyatt was victorious in a very exciting and hard hitting match up with Mark Sterling. In the end, with a little help from a distracting Steven J. Girthy, Sterling fell to Wyatt's "Rebel Yell" finisher.
* For the PWP Heavyweight Championship - "Showtime" Darrien Sanders made his way to the ring, Hype Gotti's music hit, but the champ did not come out. This happened again, and finally Showtime grabbed the mic, instructing senior official Mason to count Hype out, and award him the title by forfeit. As Mason reached the count of 9 - the music hit once again, only it was Hype's partner, Babyface who came out. He explained that he just found Hype knocked out in the back, all bloody and that he was on his way to the hospital. All the while Showtime claimed he had nothing to do with the attack. Babyface then issued the following challenge - he would fill in for his partner, and defend his belt, if Showtime won, he would be the champion, if Babyface won, Hype Gotti would remain champion, Showtime accepted, and the match was on. In the end, Mason was caught with an accidental Yakuza kick from Babyface, Showtime then hit a low blow, and grabbed the PWP Title, he swung at Babyface, who ducked, kicked Showtime in the gut, caught the belt, and blasted Showtime with it - right as Mason was getting back to his feet - he called for the DQ, thus, Showtime won the match, but Hype Gotti will retain his title.
* For the NWA Mid-West X Division Title - Jaysin Strife was victorious in a very hard fought battle with Delirious. This was a bout that went nearly 30 minutes, and is being called by many the greatest match in PWP history - which would certainly be saying something. In the end, the odd, yet incredibly talented Delirious was caught by Strife's Shining Wizard, which led to the 3 count. At the end of the evening, the two men ending things with a handshake, and an obvious showing of respect.
All the fans who attending Saturday's event got an incredible show they will not soon forget. If you were unable to be there, make sure you catch the next one! Keep checking the site and the forum for news and updates, which will follow early next week.
