I just think when it seems that everybody nowadays advertises a "dream match", then the term has no credence anymore. There have only been a few "dream matches" in the entire history of the biz, but now they are a monthly occurence (if you believe everything you read). Just my $0.02.

That's why they refer them as "Indy dream matches." And sometimes when I dream, I sometimes dream of small things as well as the major stuff. I'm there there were some people that were dreaming one day and said, "man, what would Samoa Joe vs Necro Butcher be like. That would be cool" hence "indy dream match"

Anyone who knows the history of No Limits knows why this was put up as a dream match.
At NWA: No Limits "Tearing Down the House" Ian Rotten went to the ring and announced that in the first round of the TPI Tyler Black whould take on AJ Styles.
At the TPI AJ Styles backed out and Tyler was left to face Sal Thomesilli
At the last NWA No Limits show promoters Matt & Doug Ritter went to the ring and announced that the NLW 2 year Anniversery. They were going to give Tyler the match he never had with AJ Styles.
That is why as fan as NWA: No Limits fans are concerned this is a "Dream Match."

The best part of that poster, by far, is Danny Daniels' picture being conveniently set up so that you'd think he was wrestling a midget match with Shortstack.

When I see Marek's name spelled "Marak", I imagine that it rhymes with Barack Obama's first name.

Granted it's no Dr. Tim Lyle vs. another large wrestler but to alot of the independent wrestling fans Tyler Black vs. A.J. Styles is a dream match. I for one would pay admission to see it, and that's saying alot.

I'm curious, what's up with all the weird jealousy from promoters and people from various promotions lately?

Jealousy? Where do you see jealousy?

As far as jealousy goes, none here. It's just that terms like "dream match" getting thrown around is a pet peeve of mine. My ranting about the term is no way a dig at NLW, Tyler Black or AJ Styles - I hope the show is SRO and a success (damn - that sounded jealous )

Tyler will really start to take off here soon. Matches with Low-Ki, Styles, & winning the AAW title. As I've said before, TNA should be knocking on the door.
