Lotus & Crazy J named new number one contenders to BPW Tag Team Titles; Duo to receive title shot August 10th
Despite a recent disagreement between the two hot-headed Irish brothers, Lotus & Crazy J now find themselves atop the ladder and in the top contender's spot for a chance to once again become BPW Tag Team Champions. Following their victory over Foreign Intelligence at the last BPW event in Evendale, the duo (recently dubbed "Irish Airborne") were named the new number one contenders in the tag team division and immediately found themselves in a heated dispute with the current champions, Cody Hawk & Shark Boy, which led to punches being thrown before the night was over Many are speculating as to whether or not the challengers will be able to keep their tempers in check, thus proving that winning the titles back is truly their number one priority. Cody Hawk & Shark Boy are scheduled to defend the titles against Lotus & Crazy J August 10th in Evendale at the Three Year Anniversary Showdown.
Round Two of Shark Tank 2006 Tag Team Tournament set for BPW Three Year Anniversary Showdown
Round one of the "Shark Tank" 2006 Tag Team tournament took place on April 19th, 2006, in Evendale, OH. 16 very hungry recent graduates of Shark Boy's pro wrestling training program gave it everything they had, but now only 8 remain. Second Round matches are as follows: Tom Bellman & Jerrod West vs. Eddie Gonzales & Jake Simmons, and Todd Mullins & Dustin Joseph vs. Tony X & Scary Garry. The team that wins the tournament will be catapulted into the BPW title picture when they receive a future shot at the Tag Team Titles. The semi-final matches are scheduled to take place August 10th in Evendale at the Three Year Anniversary Showdown.
