My advice, don't be lazy and go get trained instead of pretend wrestling. Thanks.

This is not a professional organization, that's not a wrestling ring. When I think backyard wrestling...there's a prime example. I really take offense when legit wrestling companies are called backyard and lumped in with this.

You choose to only use the literal where others (including myself) use the figurative.

CF, seriously if you LOOKED at the site, you'd see what Logan & I see...these kids are yarders.
Go to the Myspace page they listed & watch the video.

I did look at the site Talon...that's the basis of my post. And Tobi I prefer the literal over the abstract any day of the week.

Can yarder groups technically even BE a promotion?

The videos of great BACKYARD wrestling? Hell boys, if you're going to go shilling a show like this...even my brother could now start posting his backyard events too Bottom Line: You're yarders, untrained,no ring punk kids with a dream. Go get trained, buy a ring, & then come back to post your shows!

The only real logical thing to do is state on your flyers and any promotional device that is used that you ARE backyarders. If people come to watch after that, it's their time and their money, and it is a free country.
I think the majority of the argument comes from un-be-knowist fans coming to the show and thinking that all "Indy" wrestling is the same way. In return, could give other promotions (all 75 of them) in the area a chance to actually make money due to some people not wanting to see shows that are backyard, and more along the lines of a professional show. As long as you publize yourself as what you are, there really shouldn't be that much of an issue.
There are some shows with trained guys on it that are just as bad as a backyard show. Another problem that stems from this, is if someone gets hurt due to a stunt that is a little more advanced, newspapers and other media devices WILL lump ALL wrestling into the same catagory, thus hurting everyone involved.
