Saturday August 5, 2006 Streamwood, IL Streamwood Rec Center 777 S. Bartlett Rd
IWA Mid-South presents "LETHAL LOTTERY 2006"
This will be, by far, the most unpredictable show of the year because we don't even know what the matches are going to be! Just like last year, we will hold the "Lethal Lottery" - in which all the names of the IWA Mid-South wrestlers on hand that night will be literally put in a hat and drawn at random.
There have been other promotions that claim they put "the power" in the hands of their fans, but nobody does fan participation like IWA Mid-South. Every match will be determined by the fans draw. Upon entry to the building, each fan will be given a ticket so everyone will have a fair shot at drawing a name.
The winner(s) of each match will be put into a battle royal at the end of the night. The winner of that battle royal will face the IWA Mid-South World Heavyweight Champion, whomever he may be at that time (currently "Mr Insanity" Toby Klein," at the 2006 Ted Petty Invitational.
Participants in this event will be announced soon...

I could go without Blue Meanie on this card, personally...but I'm still looking forward to the show.

What are ticket prices for this show? I have emailed Rottenwife (per the IWA site link) twice now with no response.

Ian and myself have been in the Chicago area the last few days and have experienced the 100 plus degree heat index weather. The Streamwood building does not have air conditioning and we have decided that it is in our best interests and our fans best interests to not run the show in Streamwood this Saturday night in order to wait for the temperatures to cool down a little bit and make it a more enjoyable show for the wrestlers and the fans.
Midlo and Plainfield are air conditioned and thus will not have this problem.
We will still do the lethal lottery show sometime in September before the Ted Petty Invitational. We will probably arrange to do the show in Midlothian if they have an opening in order to not have to worry about the temperature outside. We will make the announcement at Simply the Best if they have a date available before TPI.
See everyone in Midlo.

Sucks. It's only supposed to be 84 on Saturday in Streamwood True, but assuming their reasoning is the only factor in cancelling this show, the heat could get stuck in this region for the rest of the week. Judging by my past experiences, it's a VERY real possibility.

Have you ever been to the Streamwood rec center? On a "just a lil bit hot" day that place is a sauna. If it hits 90 we're gonna have wrestlers throwin up and passin out. I'm sure they have plenty of talent for this show.

Well I know no Corbin, Cannon, Cruz, Abercrombie, Davis, Hype, Ricochet, Chuck Taylor, or Billy Roc.
