Tyler Mear was at the NIW Studio doing voice overs for the "Welcome Back Weekend" Featuring Jerry Lynn. Here is a transcript that reveals more matches for both Friday night and Saturday Night.

you need to know about the upcoming "Welcome Back Weekend"
featuring former ECW Heavyweight Champion Jerry Lynn.
The "Welcome Back Weekend" kicks off Friday, September 1st at the
Crystal Event Center in Crystal MN. Tickets are $10. Doors
at 7:30pm. This show already has some big matches signed.
You fans wanted it, now you'll get it. NIW Impact ChampionThe Prophet squares off againstRyan Cruz in a Fans' Request match. These 2 have not been in singles competition against each other in Northern Impact Wrestling. And the NIW Impact Championship is on the line. This one is sure to be one of the stand out matches on the card.
A Strive to Survive qualifying match. The team of Tep and Jones meet
Bret O'Brian and Venom of 101 Proof. With a storied history, this meeting will be to advance in the Strive to Survive tag team tournament. Tep and Jones, former Champions, look to take back the titles after losing them on Day 3 of the Impact Invitational. But in order to advance they first must beat their biggest rivals. Does 101 Proof have what it takes to finally put an end to Tep and Jones attempts for tag team supremecy?
And in more Strive to Survive first round qualifying action, The Junk Squad are set to compete against the current 3xw Tag Team champions, Nate Bash and "The Professional" Benjamin Sailer. These teams are no stranger to one another but a win in this match means an advancement in the Strive to Survive tag team tournament, and one step closer to the vacant NIW tag team titles. The Junk Squad certainly has the strength in numbers. From Horace to Rob James and even the C.E.O himself, it will be a tough challenge for Bash and Sailer, but the fact that they are champions in 3xw is not to be taken lightly.
The C.E.O. personally invites Northstar Premiere Wrestling's John Johnson to a front row seat at the Event Center. This is simply unheard of! Johnson is a former Neo Pro star before the group closed its doors in June of this year. The C.E.O had proclaimed he 'singlehandedly put Neo pro out of business'. Since, Johnson has been seen attacking "The Anarchist" Arik Cannon as well as
attacking his way into a match that is signed for sept 16 at the West St Paul Armory. Will Johnson show on Sept 1st?
Kamikaze Klecker is heading into what could be his biggest match of the year. Horace has been relentless upon his return, not only attacking fan favorites like Kid Krazy but also females like Rain. Size is clearly in Horace's advantage while Klecker is equipt with speed. Can Kamikaze pull out an underdog story against the veteran?
The new Universal champion Kid Krazy sets to defend his title against former rival Joey Envy. Envy was able to pull a victory out from under the Prophet last month in Crystal with the help of Rob James.Now Envy looks to grab NIW gold. Krazy his on a hot streak as of late, not only becoming the NIW Universal Champion but also winning the 2006 Impact Invitational Tournament. Expect this one to be full of fast paced action.
Cody O'Neill and Arik Cannon battled to a 30 minute time limit draw last month in Amery. Splitting a win a piece, and now a draw each man goes into Crystal looking for a win and a one win lead over the other. These 2 have seen
many battles including the bloody final MPW match that many have called match of the year in 2005. This is their 4th singles encounter in Northern Impact Wrestling and each man looks for the all important win.
And after 3 long years, the fomer ECW champion, Former WWE Light Heavyweight champion, Former NWA TNA X Division champion Jerry Lynn returns to MN. And returns to continue his steak of great matches here in this state as
he is set to take on Former IWA Mid-South champion Darin Corbin. This match is HUGE in the young career of Corbin. Will the knowledge Corbin has gained from his trips Chikara, IWA Mid-South, and 3xw pay off with a huge victory? Or will Lynn continue to prove why he is one of the best wrestlers alive today.

Horace has attempted to end Kid Krazy's career before with the help of the Junk Squad. Will Horace beable to put the final nail in his rivalry with Kid Krazy. And more importantly, will Kid Krazy enter Amery with the Universal Championship?
Kelly Clarksons' number one fans, 101 Proof are set to challenge the Junk Squad. Both teams have huge matches in Crystal for the Strive to Survive Tournament. 101 Proof is looking for big wins this weekend, and to ride that momentum into the Strive Tournament. The Junk Squad is quite the road block, as they have dominated almost every team that comes in their path. 101 Proof had better do their homework, if the Junk Squad bring their handcuffs into play, it could end any hopes of a victory for 101 Proof.
The Northstar Express return to tag action against two memebers of the New Genereation. Ryan Cruz and Darin Corbin have been on a roll since overcoming what they belived to be an Amery Cruse. Both Aaron Corbin and Joey Envy are making their Amery debuts and look to impress. Whichever the outcome, you can be sure this wont be the last time these two meet.
The Punisher Rob James has been waiting months for this Impact Championship title shot, however, the Prophet must retain his title in order for this match to be for the Impact Championship. This match has been months in the making as Punisher has been hellbent on taking the Impact Title. The bigger question remains...WIll the Prophet retain his title in Crystal in order to defend it in Amery?
