I don't want to take ANYTHING away from this event because it IS for a great cause. I have one question though...Does anyone think that Sheik will draw as well for a second run in that area? Just an honest question.

Just an honest question. Yes he will. The location is better and the night before Thanksgiving is a big party night. I ran at this same location on a Thursday back in March and got close to 275. I think we will top that number. It would be great for the hospital. |

A lot will also depend on everyone who reads this board to spread the word. Word of Mouth is the best advertisement money can't buy.

I honestly do. Sheiks name alone goes a long way. I mentioned his anme at work, and people that did not even know about wrestling knew who he is. He is a true legend in our business. Look at this. This my conversation with him today.
ME: Hey Sheik
Sheik: Joey my good friend, young promoter from the chicago
Me: I need to call in a favor, benefit show......blah blah yadda yadda
Sheik: I dont want the payday, you buy me ticket, I stay at your house, and we do the show for the kids
ME: No Sheik, I'd rather you stay in the hotel
Sheik: OK Tell my friend Eddy Chuman Hello and Hello to all my great chicago fans, see you on November 22nd
Right there, a 5 minute conversation and he is in. The guy truly cares about the business.
Going back to his name value, Sheik is a guy that will bring in 100 people alone on his name, maybe even more. Not to mention all of the media outlets that will be picking this up, not to mention the OTHER legend that is possibly coming in (I'll know tomorrow, I had to call in another favor), and this show will be huge.
My goal is $4,000 for the hospital, before sponsors.......$10,000 all together
