I have 2 choices for that day. It's either (1) a local Turkey Testicle Festival or (2)a benefit show for a great cause.

Would it be in bad taste for Uncle Chester to work the show? I'm not trying to be funny, but there should be a TTW showcase match. I know there are those who would love to see Chester but in this case YES! it would be in bad taste.Just my opinion.The last thing we want to do is turn more people off to wrestling! |

I thought about aTTW match, but alas, bad taste. I want to showcase all that is right with the scene, not the dark underbelly of it. With that said, here is the latest updates.
All plane tickets have been bought, and all everyone is scheduled to be in Chicago for the show. Kamala is flying in the day of the show, and Sheik and Douglas will be in the night before. There is a good possibility that The Iron Sheik will be on the radio the morning of the show. I am still trying to put that together. Anyone looking to help myself and CDK put up posters on Friday, send CDK a message.

Unless the posters have changed since CDK sent me them, I have plenty and have been putting them up on the work bulletin boards and they are available down at the WCPW's school and gym that is open to the public. I work in the loop and live on the north side so if you guys can think of any specific places drop me a line and I'll get them up. I've also been casually leaving a few here and there on the CTA during my commute. Anyone else that commutes should to the same.
What would the cost be to run an ad in the Red Eye/Reader etc?

How 'bout a link to an image of the poster where those with the inclination could download it and print up a few to pass around their respective areas? (Plus I'd like to see the updated version.) As far as Reader ads go, it costs more to get an ad in the hard copy version and the dealine may have already been missed. I suggest placing ads in the online version of the Chicago Reader. |

From my numerous contacts in Mexico I can confirm that The Enigma will be at the show in the crowd out of gimmick. Keeping with the gimmick he will not confirm nor deny he is The Enigma. Mike Petkovich made 100 posters and paid for them out of his own pocket. They are beautiful, and have huge pics of Sheik, Kamala, and Douglas. I dont know how to scan a poster that size and put it online. We are less that a week away, and everything is coming together PERFECTLY. If you want to help flyer and put up posters for the show, I will be down at the venue tomorrow at about 1pm to meet up with CDK and a few others. I'll buy lunch for whoever shows up!

FYI, for whoever is going to MSPW Fallen Heroes tomorrow, I will be there getting the word out, and if anyone wants to buy tickets, I will have them on hand. They are being printed tonight.
If anyone has any questions about tomorrow or the show in general, PLEASE PM me. I am the the Armando to Joey's Umaga, except I can't do the laugh as well.
