*PWP Champion "Babyface" Tony Cortez opened the show, saying that since he was the champ, he was calling the shots tonight. He made a match for later in the night between Hype Gotti and Sean Cruz, Cortez did however say that he was a fighting champion, and that the winner of that match would get a shot at his title at the next show, not only that, but they would get to choose any type of match they wanted.
*Preston Maxwell defeated "The Golden Boy" Vic Victory when Tony Cortez, messing around at the sound table, hit Jaysin Strife's music, as Vic looked towards the entrance, Maxwell rolled him up for the 123. After the match, Jaysin Strife hit the ring after all, even though he was suspended for the night due to his actions at the last show. Strife proceeded to lay out The Golden Boy, and leave through the front door.
**Tag Team Gauntlet Match to crown the 1st Ever PWP Tag Team Champions
*The Pride & The Passion started things off against The Dark Circle. Havius and Van Horn dominated most of the match, however in the end, Havius nailed Damien with a top rope clothesline, when Zac James moved out of the way. Zac & Tyler then hit a double standing moonsault on Damien for the win. After the match, Havius and Adrenne Rose berated Damien for the loss.
*The next team in the gauntlet was The Daniels Brothers. These two teams had a great showing of athletic sportsmanship - but in the end, Paul and Joey hit a tandem top rope legdrop & head butt on Zac to get the win. The 4 men shook hands at the end.
*In next were the Knox Brothers. The big men gave it their all, but in the end The Daniels Brothers hit simultaneous lungblowers to pick up the victory.
*The final team in the gauntlet was The Leaders of the New Revolution, Mark Sterling & "Showtime" Darrien Sanders along with Deidre. Sterling & Showtime dominated most of the match, but then out of nowhere, Joey hit a sunset flip on Sterling, as Paul got Showtime in an inside cradle, for the double pin. The winners, and FIRST EVER PWP TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS - THE DANIELS BROTHERS!
*"The Rebel" Jeremy Wyatt earned a huge win over #1 Brett Young with the Rebel Yell. Coming into this matchup, these two men were tied at 1 victory apiece against each other, but on this night, Wyatt got the better of Young in a very evenly battled match.
*Hype Gotti defeated "Sensational" Sean Cruz in an amazing match, to become #1 contender to Tony Cortez's PWP Title. After the match, Hype got on the mic, and said that the war between himself and Cortez had gone on long enough, and the time had come to end things once and for all. Hype made his title match a match that has NEVER happened in this area before, a match the likes of which PWP has never seen - Saturday night, February 17, Tony Cortez vs. Hype Gotti - for the PWP Heavyweight Championship..........NO ROPE BARBED WIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*In the main event of the evening, Michael Strider was victorious against Abu Colossus in a VICIOUS Dog Collar Match. The war that had been brewing for 10 months finally came to a bloody end. These two men fought each other all over the building, and both were a bloody mess, Strider specifically suffered a huge cut on his arm from the steel chain. In the end, Strider hit Abu with the Strider Spiral while he had Abu's head wrapped in the chain. Afterwards, and without saying a word, Abu bowed to Strider showing that if nothing else, Strider had indeed earned his respect.
It was truly one of the biggest nights in PWP history, and our next one will be even bigger!
