as to the Rosemont getting burnt out, If i recall, WCW ran the united center while WWF ran the Allstate. As for the Aurora/ Naperville area, I can give you my reason why there is no one running there. I'm terrified to run anywhere that is in the Western Subs... You just have too much competition with things to do. I love the Coal City/Morris area, and small towns, because you are bringing them something they have never seen and there is not a lot of competition. There are exactly two movie theatres in a 20 mile radius and one of them has 3 screens. No Putt putt courses, go kart tracks or anything like that. Joliet was very tough to run and our draws would be hit or miss. Basically cause there was so much to do. I don't generally worry about our draws anymore as we've been pretty consistent where we are. That said, we are looking to run north of the city in the gurneeish area. Still makes me nervous, but it's a little better. I guess my final answer would be that I believe you can run a small town where there ain't much to do a lot easier than a big area like naperville....

I think you're head on about the Naperville area. Joliet was hit or miss as the town is pretty much dedicated to youth sports. If there is little league, football, or something else going on......good luck. I still have nightmares about some of those draws. I recall the June show after the 1st Legacy was a nice kick in the balls.

Wheaton is another example. There are tons of people in that area, and we never drew more than 50 people there... too hard to reach wrestling fans with so many distractions. IN coal city, i run an article in a paper and everyone knows about the show...

Yeah there were some bad failures, that's for sure... Good that we're all doing much better now. I just wish I would have videotaped joey's phone call. I laughed so hard that night... I think you said that Nancy Kerrigan had to have steak or something like that

Yeah that was a nice tense night... I remember flyering with Mike and DDS for that show. Petkovic and I flyered a Baskin Robbins and bought ice cream for ourselves and as we walked to the car DDS was like "where's mine?", with an intense look of anticipation for a creamy snack. Needless to say, we didn't buy him anything, and we watched him pout and his happiness deflate as we enjoyed our tastey cool treat...
