Real Good Wrestling is a non-denominational
company that welcomes the best wrestlers
from ALL area promotions to participate.
With so much talent and so many great
companies, we extend an olive branch
and welcome everyone to see the best from
WCPW, IUWA, PCW, AWA, and TNA to see the
Best of the Best. On that night the best from these
promotions will gather under one roof!
Petey Williams will be heading into town
on Saturday April 21st so head on down
to the Don Preston Rec Center at
14500 S. Kostner in Midlothian, IL

I should make a similiar ad for ChicagoProWrestling with all the Chicago feds...just to illustrate how many there are.

Is this not a factor in the free enterprise system, or are we in China?

I think what they're saying is too many promotions running in one area or building will over saturate the marketplace and before you know it no one is drawing any $$.
IWA, PCW, (I think Windy City ran there last year?) and now you guys all running in Midlo.
As far as staying in their mom's basements. Mptko and CDK both work for successful promotions and maybe have a little more insight into things than you do. Their just stating their opinions.

Why doesn't anyone run in the Aurora/Naperville area? It seems like everyone tends to run more south. I think that area is a market that could be tapped and draw some decent crowds

PCW runs in Aurora every now and then. I'm not sure of how many decent locations there are in Naperville or Aurora.

told the AAW not to run in a certain area?
Would that be fair?
As far as living in their mom's basements, that was in direct response
to them responding in negative fashion, even though they really didn't
need to, as my original post never bashed anyone or talked sh-t.
But when people find the time to say something negative about
something positive, well, then it shows that instead of paying attention
to their respected feds that they are a part of....they say something like
that. Instead of using their vast wealth of insight, you know, the stuff
that they have much more of than I do, well then wouldn't it serve them better to focus on their feds?
Just a thought, my good man.

No one in AAW would run a town where there are all ready 3 promotions running. That's just bad business both financially and in a wrestling stand point. As far a being negative, I didn't bash your post, I was just being observant to the fact you're running a town where there are too many companies running already. |
