Major lucha show March 18th 2007 at the Congress

Ok there is no show in Round Lake March 13th.That was apparantly a typo on their website which Dave Meltzer misread as being the Blue Demon and Parka card at the Congress on Sunday March 18th.There will also be no show on April 8th since it is Easter Sunday,the show that was planned for that day has been pushed back by at least one week.That show is still in the early planning stages and there is nothing definate to report on it yet.

I'm not saying you heard from the promoter wrong, but...

I e-mailed the address on the website, and got an e-mail back this morning saying, yes, there's a show today



And I just got around to coming back here to post it when I find a post saying "yea, it's a typo, there's no show." So ... I am now even more confused than when I started asking questions! I think, instead of driving out of my way to Round Lake Beach and looking for random masked Mexicans, I'll go home and take a nap.

Stuff like this is why indy wrestling is indy wrestling.

Uhm Cubs Fan,who did you talk to?I talked to Mr Frank Arenas,the promoter.I talked to him on Monday and then this morning.He ensured me there was no show.Secondly I have Blue Demon's myspace page in my FRIENDS at MYSPACE and he doesn't mention coming to Round Lake in March.

OK Frank Arenas is not in charge of the website,his son Ulises handles it.Now I don't know if Ulises personally put the March 13th date in there or he pays someone to be the webmaster but from what I was told by Mr Frank Arenas himself,there is no show.He even told me he talked to someone else about it,in english.I assumed he meant you but it appears you didn't speak with Mr Frank Arenas.

helpful tip:Get yourself a show flyer at the desk in the lobby.Makes it easier to identify the wrestlers than trying to hear their names over the microphone.

I have this same question. I won't make it to Congress until just before belltime, so what is admission and will I still be able to get in by that time?

First match El Tigre defeated Silueta Azul in a one fall match

Second match was a mixed tag team in which Alto and Mia Martinez
defeated Great Malaki and Great Cheyeanne in a three fall contest.

Third match saw Tyme Paige and Rayo Laser defeat Swat Kat and Lancer
2000 in a three fall match with some underhanded tactics.

Fourth match was another mixed match in which Octagoncito and his tag
team partners Lupillo el Terrible and an unidentifiable opponent
defeated Guerrerito del Futuro,Aguila Del America and another
unidentifiable opponent.

The main event had La Parka and Nacho Libre getting a DQ victory over
the team of Blue Demon Jr and Hijo de Cien Caras.Parka pretty much
handled the match all by himself since Nacho Libre mostly got his
butt kicked by the heels and provided little offense.The rudos were
DQued when they yanked Parka's mask off and tried for a pin,when the
ref refused to count they smakced him around guaranteeing a DQ.

Crowd estimates are between 800 and 1000 people though I do not have
the official numbers yet.
