NWA:Wisconsin made waves by introducing a new title last show, despite the wishes of Ed Chuman and NWA Midwest. Will the controversy be solved, or will the flames of dissention be fanned?
This Saturday's show takes place at Baba Louie's in DePere (suburb of Green Bay). Belltime is 9pm. Cover charge is just eight bucks.
Commentator Will "The Thrill" Sentowski wrote an excellent preview of the show, which I will cut and paste now...

DARK MATCH: The High-Fivin' White Guys vs. ?
Hard to pick this one, as we don't know who Don Gotti and Jerry Stylz will be facing. Still, one would think the Duke refugees will be looking for revenge, what with the North Carolina situation and all. Oh, and that they got beat by those "old guys" from ACW, Krueger and Longtime…to my personal satisfaction.
Silas Young vs. Arya Daivari
Both men make their return to the NWA Wisconsin ring after a short hiatus, both missing gold: Silas from his former run with NWA Midwest gold, and Daivari after coming this close to our X-Division title. This one has "match of the night" written all over it, for the sheer ability of each man to flat-out GO. Make sure you're in your seat for this one…even if you'll only need the edge.
Mason Quinn vs. J-Cash
One of the biggest questions going into March Mayhem is: whose side is Mason Quinn on? Sure, he'll want a piece of J-Cash after the Sac-town superstar cost him the NWA Midwest X-Division title…but if he's willing to take more money from Rev. Johnson to vacation in Escanaba, MI than to wrestle on Jason Jerry's payroll…has Quinn proven that his services can be bought? Does that create an opening for either Jerry or Johnson…or J-Cash?
You never know…the linchpin of this whole mess could be who Quinn eventually goes with. There'll be repercussions aplenty after this one.
NWA MIDWEST X-DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP:
"The Latin Sensation" Esteban Molina vs. Jason Dukes
(30 minute time limit, if no fall is made within 30 minutes a panel of impartial judges will decide the winner.)
The first of two big title matches on this month's show, and this one has overtones of the Ric Flair/Terry Funk NWA title feud of '89 or so. But who will these "impartial" judges be? And who will select them?
Plus, actual wrestling-wise, you'll recall that Molina pinned the champ…but it was after the time limit, so no title transfer. Can Molina put aside his party-with-the-ladies-at-Baba Louie's attitude long enough to score a legal pinfall on the arrogant champion?
NWA WISCONSIN X-DIVISION CHAMPIONSHP:
Justin Dredd vs. "Cadillac" Nick Colucci
(Falls Count Anywhere)
I've noticed that a lot of Colucci's matches, be they title defenses or otherwise, end up in the crowd. Hence, you'd have to think a falls-count-anywhere match play to the champ's strengths. How many times have we seen him fly like a big Italian hawk off the top turnbuckle to squash somebody on the outside? How about last month, when their title battle turned into a bar-wide brawl?
Still, the champ is outnumbered in this one. Colucci still remembers the post-match steel chair courtesy Dredd, his pal Bobby V, and the diabolial Miss Anne…and the champ's got the bump on the noggin to prove it. But with the rulebook basically out the window, can a brawler like Cadillac beat 3-to-1 odds?
Dysfunction (NWA Wisconsin champion) vs. Playboy Troy
In his NWA Wisconsin debut last month, we saw what an opportunist Playboy Troy is. Heck, his quick thinking not only got him a win, but sent former crowd favorite El Vato over the edge of nastiness. This time, though, Troy's not facing a fun-lovin' guy who loves to have fun…he's facing hardcore personified in the NWA Wisconsin champ. I don't think Dys is putting his newly-won title on the line in this one…but who knows, with the way things are in flux around here. Still, Troy may find it's a little harder to sneak one's way to victory agains a human tornado like Dysfunction, gold or not. And when Dys gets a mind to beat his opponent up…well, let's just say it's a good thing the ring apron is red, and the canvas is dark.
"El Vato" Jose Guerrero vs. "Cookie Cutter" Christopher Gambino
At Valentine's Vendetta last month, we saw the end of an era, when El Vato's buddy Gambino cost him the match against the aforementioned newcomer Playboy Troy, and Guerrero holds him AND the NWA Wisconsin fans responsible! Angered at his betrayal by fomer champion Dinn T. Moore breaking up Spanish Stew, and his lack of success since, Guerrero has turned his back on those who have loved him and cheered him so long. Gambino's the first recipient of this new, dark attitude from El Vato…can he survive the wrath of a Guerrero scorned?
Adrian Lynch (NWA Wisconsin N.E.W. champion) & partner to be named (NOT Shane Hills) vs. "God's Gift to Women" Kevin Krueger & "The Love Machine" Matt Longtime
All three of these ACW greats proved their points last month at Valentine's Vendetta…but in such different ways, n'est pas?
After all the running of the mouths done by the High Fivin' White Guys, Krueger and Longtime showed the new kids how you get it done in a wrestling ring…in classic ACW style. Damn near brought a tear to my eye.
But on the other hand, Adrian Lynch walked away from Valentine's Vendetta in possession of the brand-new NWA Wisconsin N.E.W. championship...in the MOST controversial of fashions. If you'll recall:
-With Dysfunction eliminated earlier, J-Cash throws Lynch into referee Col. Tom Walker, incapacitating him.
-Cash covers Lynch, but in comes SHANE F'N HILLS and hits Cash with the Hillbilly Jam.
-Lynch takes advantage of a revived Walker and covers Cash for the pin and the title.
-Rev. Johnson comes in and reveals Hills is under HIS control. I go batsh*t loco behind the mic…and the NWA Wisconsin crew nearly riots.
So the question remains: what did Lynch know, and when did he know it? Is he in on the Rev's grand plan, or did the wily vet just see an opening for gold and grab it? And above all, who the hell is the new champ's partner gonna be? Who's naming him? And what will the newly-victorious team of Krueger and Longtime do about it?
And a "surprise" from NWA Wisconsin owner Jason Jerry
I have NO idea what JJ has in store for the Reverend, but I'm as excited as any of you to see it…as long as it ends with Johnson flat on his back, unconscious somewhere. And then we can all give me a birthday toast over his already-bloated carcass.
