LwA Circus Maximus 4 w/ Samoa Joe 6/30

We are only weeks away from the LWA summer spectacular, Circus Maximus. Three huge main events have been signed as this looks to be the most stacked card in the history of the LWA. Coming off a successful show in Saint Charles, the LWA would like to thank all of our super fans, as well as the Vetta Sports Complex. Look for the LWA to return to Saint Charles in the month of September.

They put on one of the hardest hitting matches the Midwest area has ever seen… and on June 30th they will collide one more time. On June 30th, Adam Raw faces Michael Strider once more. Their last battle saw Raw pull out the win but not before he took over 25 chops from the madman, Strider, and had his head busted open from a steel chair. Strider right after being looked at by the LWA staff demanded a rematch with Raw and Raw was quick to sign the paper work. This match alone is worth the $15 admission.

The heat between the Submission Squad has reached its boiling point. On June 30th, Submission Squad members will collide as Pierre Abernathy will team once again with Gary the Barn Owl and they will take on the Submission Squad of Dingo and Nick Tyson. Many are saying that Pierre cost Tyson the LWA title by stopping him from using a chair on Gary. Tyson has declared that he will make Pierre pay. You can see what Tyson had to say by checking out the LWA YouTube page. Pierre has been unavailable for comment we hope to hear from him in the next day or so.

Circus Maximus IV will be host of the biggest main event in the history of the LWA. Dorian Victor will take on TNA and International superstar, Samoa Joe. Dorian is coming off the biggest win of his life when he pinned Adam Raw clean in the middle of the ring and there are rumors that Dorian has hired the best fight trainers in the world to help him train for this match. Dorian addressed the LWA media late Sunday night and he made a shocking announcement. We will air that announcement on the LWA YouTube page in the coming days. This announcement could very well have a big impact on the match June 30th.

The experience that is the Lethal Wrestling Alliance returns to action on Saturday June 30th, as LWA Productions LLC presents Circus Maximus IV. The show starts at 7:30pm doors opens at 6:30pm. SIX DAYS TIL CIRCUS MAXIMUS!

Super-fans, wrestling-fans, and alcoholics alike; we are only one week away from the LwA's annual summer spectacular, CIRCUS MAXIMUS. This year marks the fourth time that Circus Maximus has been showcased and is already stacked to be the single biggest indy Pro Wrestling show that St. Louis has seen in a long time! And as some fans know, Circus Maximus is a very special show because it is the MOST VIOLENT and OUT OF CONTROL EVENT OF THE YEAR!

Originally started in a different company, in 2002, Circus Maximus initial event showcased two bitter rivals pummeling each other silly as Adam Raw and Frankie Big Balls did everything but kill each other (and worse). The match featured a suplex off of a balcony that resulted in both men beaten, bloody, and taken to the hospital! The match finished with Frankie having a concussion and Raw with broken ribs; but both men set a presidence for what Circus Maximus would become.

The following Circus Maximus was in 2004. The first time to be held under the banner of the Lethal Wrestling Alliance, this show was every bit as crazy as the previous event. This show featured a hard hitting match up between two rivals Tony Magnum and Bruce Van Chan; but even more insane was the unexpectedly violent match up between Eric "The Aardvark" Delbuano and "The Drunken Irish Midget" Shamus O'Flannery. These two bled, fell on their necks, and damn near tore the roof off the building. In the main event, Adam Raw faced his long time respected friend 'Nightmare' Nick Tyson for the LwA championship. Raw threw everything he had at Nightmare, including a piledriver through a table right in the middle of the audience! But it wasn't enough to take Nightmare's LwA title, as he ended it with the 'Code Red'

Circus Maximus III (2006) featured a much different theme. As the Missouri Athletic Commission tried to prevent our mega-brutal event from happening by denying licenses to some of the LwA's more established stars, the younger guys stepped up to show why they were ready to finally shine! Evan Gelistico put up a helluva fight against his former mentor and then-LwA champion Dan Velten; and in the main event Dorian Victor, Pierre Abernathy, and Gary the Barnowl beat each other senseless in a triple threat match up for the LwA Medallion. Ladders, tables, and chairs could not stop any of these men, but it all ended as Dorian Victor smashed his way to the prize of the LwA Medallion.

In one week, June 30th 2007, Dorian Victor will once again headline Circus Maximus. But at CIRCUS MAXIMUS IV, he's going in against the biggest star the LwA has ever seen...and one of the most brutal wrestlers in the world; SAMOA JOE! How fitting that at the LwA's most violent show of the year, one of the world's most violent wrestlers will be making his debut. Joe has brought havoc to Ring of Honor; he's brought destruction to Spike TV's TNA; and at Circus Maximus IV, Joe is bringing the pain for the first time ever to the LwA. Will Dorian, the talented and gifted young man that just made his debut over a YEAR ago, be able to withstand the pressure and fulfill his wrestling dreams by defeating Samoa Joe? Or will Joe just prove to be one big bad dream?!

Also on the card will be the big tag team match that has been MONTHS in the making as the LwA Champion Gary the Barnowl teams up with the LwA Medallion holder Pierre Abernathy to take on the duo that's been setting the wrestling world on fire; NICK TYSON and DINGO! The two remaining members of the Submission Squad (Tyson and Dingo) are already extremely angry at their former ally, Pierre, and they are looking to have their way with the Medallion holder and the LwA champion.

Also on the card will be the return match up that people from the state next door have been talking about as the destructive force known as Michael Strider returns to face the man he split open and controversially lost to back in April...Adam Raw. These two hammered each other the first time, with Raw taking over 20 chops from Michael Strider and Strider knocking him SELF out with a chair he used earlier to beat Raw to a bloddy pulp!
