NEW ScW Quad City Champion Dan Lawrence will defend his title
On Friday, June 29th at Don's Pub in Donahue, IA, Scott County Wrestling continues the march to Epic 4 (September 7th) with Malevolence '07. Tickets for Malevolence are available at Co-op Records in Davenport, IA and Moline, IL otherwise it's $10 at the door.
At SCW Unleashed (June eighth), SCW Champion Marek Brave introduced his new bodyguard "Mean" Mason Beck (formerly known as Big Mike) and "the most beautiful women SCW has ever seen" Nicky Heartless. Marek Brave let the entire SCW crowd know how proud he was of Beck for screwing Shane Hollister out of the SCW Championship until for SCW star Nevin Knoxville attending the show as a fan had enough. Nevin walked up to the ring and let everyone, including Brave know that he was nothing, but a coward. The comment didn't sit well with Beck and Brave and moments later, Beck stepped in and took down Nevin in the middle of the crowd. Mark Storm and SCW security broke up the scuffle and Storm let Beck now that his actions were unacceptable and he'll pay the consequences by taking on the man he screwed over, Shane Hollister.
How will Shane Hollister extract revenge on the SCW Champion and his new muscle? On June 29th, all three men will be in Donahue.
Tyler Black faced Danny Daniels for a shot at the SCW Championship, but the referee (Waldo) DQ'd Tyler Black without merit. Word has it, Mark Storm will comment on this situation at ScottCountyWrestling.com in the coming days.
Dan Lawrence defeated former QC Champion to capture the title at Unleashed. Join Dan Lawrence and the rest of SCW as we celebrate Dan's first title in Scott County Wrestling. Stand up, grab a beer and believe in your new QC Champion, "The Party Danimal" Dan Lawrence.
Confusion blanketed the crowd in the SCW Tag Team Title hunt on June 8th. Brett Gakiya & Nick Brubaker pulled off the shocking upset by defeating "Glamazon" Bobbi Dahl & Woody Maguire for a shot at the Tag Team Titles. After the match, Timothy Regal was disgusted with another loss and immediately got in Dahl's face slapping him. Dahl attempted to hit Regal, but walked away without incident.
Later in the night, Krotch was forced to defend the Tag Team Titles by himself against Gakiya & Brubaker. Bobbi Dahl ran out from the back and assumed the spot as Krotch's tag team partner and made the pin on both Gakiya & Brubaker leaving Krotch, Regal and Woody Maguire confused.
Timothy Regal and Woody Maguire will be looking for an explanation on June 29th.
With Epic 4 only 3 months away, June 29th will help set the stage for the biggest event in SCW history.
