Doors open at 6:30PM. Belltime is scheduled for 7PM. Bring your signs and banners as Determination will be the site of the first ever CEW Television Tapings! CEW will be airing on the Kirkwood channel on Mediacom Television's channel 11 in the Cedar Rapids area, beginning this fall.
LUMBERJACK MATCH FOR THE CEW CHAMPIONSHIP
"Delicious" Devin Carter vs. Gage Octane
"Delicious" Devin Carter is well known around CEW as a star that utilizes one underhanded tactic after another to continue to walk away the CEW Champion, including outside interferance. After winning the first ever Empire Open in June, Gage Octane opted to cash in on the opportunity to step into the ring with the champ in a Lumberjack Match. Could this be what CEW fans have been waiting for? Can Carter outsmart and outscam the Lumberjacks and Octane now? It may finally be Carter's time to "shut up and wrestle."
CEW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Casanova & "Pop Icon" Donnie Peppercricket vs. "The Bomb Squad" Ricky Kwong & Owen Donovan
At High Risk in January, the first tag-team contest to be held inside a CEW ring was between Casanova & "Pop Icon" Donnie Peppercricket vs. "The Bomb Squad" Ricky Kwong & Owen Donovan. That hard fought match ended with the "Bomb Squad coming up short, but very close to a victory. What will happen on September 8th when Donovan is in his hometown crowd and Kwong has kept improving? According to Donnie Peppercricket, he's not worried about a thing and either is partner Casanova. Only time will tell who the first CEW Tag-Team Champions will be.
SPECIAL CHALLENGE MATCH
Jaysin Strife vs. Mic Meyhem
After turning his back on his longtime friend Underdogg at "Home Grown," Mic Meyhem has made it known that he thinks he is the best wrestler CEW has to offer. When hearing Meyhem's controversial beliefs, fan favorite and recent #1 Contendor to the CEW Championship Jaysin Strife made an open challenge to Meyhem. Strife's challenge: Put up or shut up! Meyhem responded with a text message to a CEW official stating he was accepting Strife's challenge, and he will prove to the fans in Oskaloosa that he is the best wrestler in CEW, period.
SPECIAL ATTRACTION MATCH
Michael Strider vs. Tyler Cook w/ Candi
Get ready for a hard hitting contest, as two of the toughest competitors in Kansas square of in CEW action! CEW fans first saw Michael Strider and Tyler Cook in March at Shock and Awe. Both grapplers showed the fans what they had to offer and left them wanting more. CEW fans have demanded that Strider and Cook return to a CEW ring! Therefor, on September 8th at Determination, Michael Strider will have another opportunity to step into a CEW ring as he takes on Tyler Cook! Cook will not be alone as he will be accompanied to the ring by his valet, Candi!
SINGLES MATCH
Kraig "Krow" Keesaman vs. Zac James
Also returning on September 8th when CEW returns to Oskaloosa, independent wrestling veteran, Kraig "Krow" Keesaman. Keesaman first showed up alongside Corwin Star to take on Tyler Cook and Arya Daivari at Shock & Awe. Although coming up short in March, Keesaman is determined to start his winning streak in CEW as he takes on Zac James. Coming off recent stellar matches with Jaysin Strife, Stephen Saint and "The Bomb Squad," Zac James is focused and ready to rumble, with possibly his toughest challenge yet.
IN THE DOGGHOUSE
Underdogg with Special Guest: Austin Bayliss
Coming off the heels of a vicious beatdown from Mic Meyhem at "Home Grown," Underdogg will be at Determination and is ready to make some noise up In the Dogghouse! Underdogg has informed CEW officials that he has a bombshell announcement to make on September 8th, and he will make that announcement in the ring, with Austin Bayliss! What will Underdogg and Bayliss have to say about June 23rd, Mic Meyhem, and their future in Central Empire Wrestling? It's time to turn up the heat!
CEW SINGLES DEBUTS
Evan Jordan vs. "The All American" Stephen Stonebraker
One word, Determination! It's time for the first two students of the current CEW training class to get some in ring action! Stonebraker and Jordan have prepared for this moment all their lives and on September 8th in Oskaloosa, dreams will come true. Be there to see it all unfold!
Talent scheduled to appear: Stephen Saint, Chris Havius, Partyboy, Ray Rivera and more including the CEW debut of Katsuo Fujee.
Tickets will be available at the Mahaska County YMCA. Advanced tickets $8. All tickets $11 at the door. Ticket price includes state athletic and sales taxes. This is an all ages live event.
