***ELITEPRO RETURNS TO STEGER ON SEPT. 7***
The I's have been dotted and the T's have been crossed. ElitePro returns to the Steger VFW on Friday, September 7 for a warmup before our big ElitePro Showcase in Midlothian as part of IWA MidSouth's Ted Petty Invitational Weekend. The show will be named "Calm Before The Storm". Belltime will be 8pm and ElitePro officials have already spoken to the building manager and there is no set time for us to be out of the building so don't expect any last-minute changes.
***RICHARDS vs. DYSFUNCTION II SIGNED FOR SEPT. 7***
At "Kings, Saints & Dragons", Dysfunction came to the ring and challenged the winner of the ElitePro Championship Match between Chase Richards and Larry Sweeney for the belt in September. Later in the match, Dysfunction made it clear who he wanted to take on in that match. He interfered to help Richards gain the victory, but blindsided the champion with a vicious Superkick to the jaw to "send a mesage".
On Friday night, September 7, Dysfunction gets what he wants - a rematch against Chase "The Face" Richards for the ElitePro Championship.
***IRON SAINTS PREPARE FOR SHOWCASE THREE-WAY DANCE***
The ElitePro Tag Team Champions - Vito and Sal Thomaselli - survived the toughest weekend of their title reign when they defeated three of the toughest teams to step into an ElitePro ring in a two-day span.
But now, they must prepare for a match that has never happened before when they face each other and their younger brother, Brandon, in a three-way dance in the main event of the ElitePro Showcase on Sept. 29. IWA MidSouth promoter Ian Rotten will be the special referee for the bout.
In order to prepare for the rare singles competition, the Thomaselli brothers have gone to the ElitePro officials and demanded singles matches at "Calm Before The Storm". The officials have obliged. All three Thomaselli brothers will be in singles action on Sept. 7.
ElitePro officials have already signed two matches. Middle brother Sal Thomaselli will go one-on-one with one of the brightest young stars in ElitePro as he takes on Jason Hades. Youngest brother Brandon will take on "Believe It or Not" Jeff Brooks. Officials are still working on an opponent for eldest sibling, Vito, and will announce it as soon as it's finalized. |

***TEAM IWA MIDSOUTH ANNOUNCED, TEAM ELITEPRO TO BE ANNOUNCED 9/7***
On Friday night in Midlothian, IWA Midsouth promoter Ian Rotten announced the remaining members of Team IWA-MS in the 8-Man Interpromotional Challenge slated for the ElitePro Showcase on the afternoon of September 29. Joing IWA World Heavyweight Champion Chuck Taylor will be "The Pyscho Shooter" Drake Younger, Scotty Vortekz and Dysfunction. Unfortunately, because of time constraints, EliteProWrestling.com cameras were unable to get a moment to tape an official announcement as planned.
And after adding three "death match guys", as he called them, to the team, Rotten decided to up the stakes of the challenge and have the bout contested under "Old School IWA Rules", meaning no countout, no DQ, anything goes. After announcer Ben Jordan relayed the challenge, ElitePro officials were happy to agree to those terms.
On Friday, Sept. 7 in Steger at "Calm Before The Storm", ElitePro will announce the names of the wrestlers that will join ElitePro Champion Chase Richards on Team ElitePro.
***INDEPENDENT STAR JOSH ABERCROMBIE TO DEBUT ON 9/7***
Josh Abercrombie, a former IWA World Light Heavyweight Champion and member of the Trailer Park Boyz tag team on MTV's short-lived "Wrestling Society X" show, has come to an agreement with ElitePro Wrestling to make his debut in the promotion at the upcoming "Calm Before The Storm" show on Sept. 7 in Steger. It's unknown who his opponent will be for the night.
Fans of IWA Midsouth will know that Abercrombie and Dysfunction are embroiled in a feud. With both men in the same place at the same time, one has to wonder what could happen. Dysfunction has a shot at the ElitePro Championship that night, and one has to believe that Abercrombie will be watching that match closly for a multitude of reasons. |
