Eddie Kingston and 2 Cold Scorpio have been announced. Kingston is the defending RSST champ. I thought Scorpio did filps and danced, not strong style.

His match up against Hero last Friday should have demonstrated that Flash Funk can turn into Scorpio, (a former NOAH GHC Hardcore Champion) when necessary.
One could argue what "Hardcore" and "Strong Style" wrestling means within the context of this tourny but the point is, TCS can still go.

Saturday November 24th, 2007 Don Preston Recreational Center 14500 Kostner Avenue Midlothian, IL Bell Time: 7:30 pm; Doors Open: 6:45 pm Ticket prices: $25 front row, $20 second row, $15 GA [glow=red,2,300]2007 Revolution Strong Style Tournament[/glow] We have two names to announce for this event: 1. "Last of a Dying Breed" Eddie Kingston - the reigning Strong Style Tournament champion 2. Too Cold Scorpio Just added: NWA World Women's Title Match vs. The NWA World Women's Champion Amazing Kong will take on IWA Mid-South Women's Champion Mickie Knuckles in one of the most requested matches that we have ever had...men's or women's. This will be a hard hitting battle like never seen before in the women ranks. Will "The Walking Episode of Cops" be able to handle being in there with a woman that is so much bigger than her for the first time since she was maybe a rookie? Will all the death matches and wrestling all the boys prove to be more than enough to ready Mickie for the opportunity of a lifetime? What better named show than the Revolution Strong Style Tournament to have this match?

Yes, but that match did a better job proving Hero is good in the role of total douche. No doubt 2Cold makes the show better. I guess I keep equating strong style with head dropping.

This is strong style. they go out there and hit VERY hard. Some corners call this style Kings Road
Death math is more well death match. (Fire, tacks, sharp things)

Its one night eight men and very stiff and brutal. great shows. past winners include BJ Whitmer( its him or C.M. Punk), Samoa Joe, Chris Hero and Eddie Kingston heres a video from the 2005 show

KOTDM is just death matches.
TPI is a mixture of technical, aerial, strong style and an occassional "death match" guy to compliment all the things that Ted Petty could do in the ring.
Strong Style is very forearm, headbutt, suplex heavy action that is in the same style of a lot of the Japanese stuff that is out there.
Those are the differences in the tournaments. We feel it gives everyone a chance to showcase different styles that they can do very well and each one has its niche with a certain segment of the fan base.
Past winners of Revolution SST: 2003 - BJ Whitmer; 2004 - Samoa Joe; 2005 - Chris Hero & 2006 - Eddie Kingston
Past winners of Sweet Science/TPI: 2000- Chris Hero; 2001 - Ace Steel; 2002 - BJ Whitmer; 2003 - Danny Daniels; 2004 - A.J. Styles; 2005 - Matt Sydal; 2006 - Low Ki; 2007 - Mike Quackenbush
Past winners of KOTDM: 1997 - Ian Rotten; 2000 - Rollin Hard; 2001 - Ian Rotten; 2002 - Necro Butcher; 2003 - Mad Man Pondo; 2004 - Corporal Robinson; 2005 - Toby Klein; 2006 - Mitch Page; 2007 - Corporal Robinson

Those differing tournaments sounds very innovative and sweet. I really hope I can make it to this show, I'm pretty excited for it.

So 5 days away and we still have no idea who the other 4 guys are during the show. Combine that lack of hype plus the busy holiday season, and this may = financial bath for IWA. I hope not, but this is their kind of track record.
