From the Powerhouse Myspace....
Powerhouse Commisioner Dr.Tim Lyle informed the crowd in Streator that Botch's scheduled title defense against Machine would not be taking place due to Botch being diagonsed with cancer. Our thoughts and prayers are with Botch at this time.
"The Hype" Jimmy Shalwin (with his manager Tobias Montgomery Hope) representing The A-Team fought Beast to a double disqualification.
"The Golden Boy" Mike Horning pinned Steve Amani
In his Powerhouse debut, Machine defeated Jonny Lawless
"Electric" Eric Freedom and the masked Jason the Terrible fought A-Team Members "The Old Timer" Jeff King and former Powerhouse Champion"Too Tough" Magnum Conroy with Tobias Montgomery Hope to a No Contest. Jason took off his mask and revealed himself to be Jimmy Shawlin. The A-Team members then beat down Freedom until Beast & Dr. Tim Lyle made the save. Lyle then announced that Shawlin, King, and Conroy would face Beast, Freedom, and a third partner in the main event of tonight's show.
Remy Rainz of the A-Team (with Tobias M. Hope) beat Andrew McLeod
Adam Reynolds defeated Gameboy
"Electric" Eric Freedom, Beast, and Andrew McLeod defeated Jimmy Shalwin, "The Old Timer", and Magnum Conroy (with Tobias M. Hope). In the post-match chaos wild brawl broke out after the match, and a second Jason the Terrible emerged. Jason unmasked to be Lyle. Eric Freedom hit A-Team manager Tobias Hope with the Hippie Hippie Shake.
Commisioner Lyle then announced that the main event of the Sept.8th Streator show will be Powerhouse commissioner and former wrestler Dr Timothy Lyle, (returning for one more match, at the request of all the fans) as he teams with "Electric" Eric Freedom, to take on Remy Rainz and "the Old Timer" Jeff King in a steel cage match. Both Big Al Haeussler and Mr. Skip will referee this match. Haeussler on the inside of the cage, Mr. Skip on the outside.
C.A.R.E. director Jim Cashmer will be HANDCUFFED TO Tobias Hope at ringside.
More matches will be announced as they are signed.
