Fire Pro Wrestling: Trial By Fire is in the books.
Due to the nature of the Cruiserweight Title and the 24/7 stipulation, Fire Pro cannot weigh every opponent that chooses to make a dash for the 24/7 title. Therefore, the fans voted as to whether the title will be a Cruiserweight Title only or a 24/7 Hard Target Title with no limitations on weight. Results of the vote will be calculated and given before the September 29th show.
Hot crowd all night long. Thanks to those that came out. Due to I-80 being shut down and the extreme late arrival of many of the wrestlers on the show, we decided to start the show off with a couple impromptu matches to give the fans something while we waited for the rest of the roster.
1. The Kent Boys (Hayden + Christopher) def. PT Hustla + “Ace of Spades” Ryan Rick
-Kent Boys won with a double Bare Back on Rich
2. Pride Title Match: Chase “the Face” Richards def. “the Associate” Dave Allen
-“Diehard” Steve Szoke, Jungle Jane and “the Juggernaught” Osyris came to the ring with an announcement concerning the show. Steve informed the crowd that due to his recent fight with cancer, he was unable to wrestle tonight, but would be at the September 29th show. As a result, he specifically called in Osyris to ask if he would take his spot. Osyris accepted and took over being the captain of one of the 4-man teams.
Tournament for the vacant Fire Pro Heavyweight Title: 4 Tag Elimination Matches featuring 4 men on a team. The winner of their respective teams will advance to a battle royal at the end of the night, where a new Fire Pro Heavyweight Champion will be crowned.
3. Captain: Angus McDuff, Gilbert Lewis, Roach + Jynx (the stable known as the MCA “Mid-Card Avengers) vs “the Associate” Dave Allen, Daniel Allure, Santana Starks + “the Ace of Spades” Ryan Rich
-Surviving Wrestlers moving on to the Battle Royal: the entire team of the Mid-Card Avengers, Angus, Gilbert, Roach + Jynx
4. Co-Captains: The Kent Boys, Fuzion + “the Party Danimal” Dan Lawrence vs Co-Captains: New Breed (Kenny Courageous + Devon Fury), “Simply Spectacular” Dave Davidson + “Primadonna” Bryce Benjamin

5. Captain: Cade Lee w/ Lynn Marie, Machine, Trauma + PT Hustla vs Captain: “the Juggernaught” Osyris w/ Jungle Jane, Hillbilly Jed, Indiana Kid + “Hot Bod” Shawn Davis
(Osyris was the first one eliminated when Cade Lee sneaked a chain in Osyris’ outfit and called the ref to check him out, resulting in his disqualification)

6. Captain: Chase “the Face” Richards, “Warfare” Jeremy Hadley, D-Nytemare + the Crusader vs Captain: “the Regulator” Tristin Hayze, Hoss, Willie + ?
(before the match began, D-Nytemare announced that as much as he would love to wrestle on Chase’s team tonight, Tristin Hayze paid him to sit, watch and not participate. This left a vacant spot on Chase’s team. Then Tristin Hayze informed Chase that he did have a 4th member for his team and it was “Warfare” Jeremy Hadley. Hadley then stepped away from Chase + the Crusader and walked over to Hayze, Hoss and Willie)
-Surviving Wrestlers moving on to the Battle Royal: “the Regulator” Tristin Hayze
7. Special Lottery Match: 2 names of wrestlers who have already lost their spot in the tournament were drawn. Those 2 men would then compete and the winner would be awarded his spot back in the Battle Royal (which would start as soon as the match finishes)
“the Juggernaught” Osyris w/ Jungle Jane def. “Simply Spectacular” Dave Davidson to win a spot in the Battle Royal.

3. Fire Pro Tag Team Title Match: New Breed (Kenny Courageous + Devon Fury) (c) vs Risk Factor (Roach + Jynx)
-Lex Luger will not only be making yet another appearance at Fire Pro this night, but he has asked to be in Risk Factor’s corner for this match. Lending his experience and insight as one of the few wrestlers in the world who continued to capture title after title throughout his career.
