Great to see you clearly don't understand my point.

You had a point? I mean, other than shitting on something in IWA MidSouth?

I see nothing specific relating to IWA-MS. In fact, Crank went out of his way to relay that his thoughts were regarding the scene as a whole:

Is he not using a specific incident on an IWA-MS show? I think that specifically relates to IWA-MS, no? He has basically insinuated that IWA did something improper when that was NOT the case. Again, he wasn't there and has no real knowledge of the situation. To assume he knows what happened and then make judgements about the promotion is ignorant and downright irresponsible.

Ed Chuman can't be the only person concerned for his safety.
If somebody lands on their head, they don't get an ankle injury. There has even been two first hand accounts that he landed on his head and one person who stated hearing him asking where he was. In my opinion, it was stupid for him to go back out there and risk further damage to the brain.
I am using a specific example at an IWA show but its happening in the WWE right now. It's probably happening on some other shows. Head or brain injuries are nothing to f**k around with in 2007. Again, it goes for every single wrestling promotion in the entire universe.

So I take it you've talked to Mr. Chuman. Or, are you just taking a storyline and believing it a bit too much?
And in Mike Quackenbush's opinion, he was good enough to wrestle. He would know better than anyone else, right?

Hmmmm, if Mike did have a concussion, then no. He wouldn't know better than anybody else. Was there a doctor in the house to determine if he had a concussion? All I'm saying Ben is that I feel that if there is even a chance that a wrestler had a concussion, he shouldn't continue to wrestle until finding out for sure. Hopefully the culture of wrestler toughness built around brain injuries changes in the future for the long term health and safety for the wrestlers. I can't believe you would argue against that.

You're entitled to an opinion. It doesn't make it correct, however. I simply think you're making a mountain out of a molehill. I have a pretty good feeling Quack won't be killing his wife and child anytime soon. Calm down.
If Quack felt the risk was not high and felt he could continue, that is HIS CHOICE. Whether you like that or not, doesn't really matter.

Quack had his big boy pants on...he can make his own decisions.

In the real world with real injuries, somebody with a brain injury shouldn't be the one to make the decision on whether or not he could continue to wrestle. I don't believe that it's a good idea going forward for wrestlers to think they're courageous by continuing to wrestle when they get or think they've gotten a concussion. I stand by that and think any wrestler who believes they need to act "tough" are stupid.
From all accounts, Quack did not have a concussion for the record. In 2007, however, better safe than sorry.

Well, even though this thread has turned into a 2 person debate I would like to send my congrats out to Quack for his very impressive outing at the TPI and going on to win the tournament. Very good show overall and very emotional promo after the finals w/ Ian and Quack.
