Well I've been on Stan Pain's case all month so i decided to check out his show in Streamwood on Saturday. Here's what I thought.
Bell time was advertised as 7pm the first match began at 7:27pm
Stan Pain plays a commissioner role and walks around the ring doing commentary during the matches which is very annoying.
Match 1) Bones vs Joey Roth
Wow! Bones was like 110 pounds and he shops at Hot Topic for his gear as does his 125 pound opponent Joey Roth. Roth wins because of some girl at ringside that I assume was managing Bones. Very Very Poor Match to say the least.
Match 2) Damien Dunn vs Balbazar from Nightbreed
Good Match. Very good back and fourth match all 27 people in the crowd were into it. Both men can wrestle and did a good job. Dunn gets the win I think.
Match 3) Milo Cash vs another skinny guy
Every time I see a Milo Cash match he's beating some kid half his size with every finisher known to man. Total Squash Match! After the match Milo grabs a chair and Ryan Kross runs in to make the save. Kross was a good guy which I wasn't used to since his PCW and CCW days.
Match 4) Ivan Manson Vs Abadonn from Nightbreed
Good Match. 2 decent workers put on a decent match. Abadonn
beat Manson.
Match 5)Left for a cigarette came back this match was done.
Match 6) Milo Cash with TL Money vs Ryan Kross
Good Match. Good to see Kross back in IL. Milo beats Kross with the assist from TL Money after the Ref was knocked out. Overall Good Match.
Match 7) Chris Black vs TC Washington
Solid Match. Nothing spacial,Black beat Washington. Overall good match.
Match 8) Bailey Mannix and Sean Mulligan vs The Furies
Early in the night Bailey did a very funny promo wearing a mascot costume because he thought he was wrestling the Furi's.
Well I thought it was going to be Xplicit Content but instead it was Bailey and some kid from Windy City. I much prefer the Jefro King and in shape Mitch Blake days better. Good match however at the end 2 other tag-teams came out and challenged everyone to a 4-way next time.
Note: During the middle of the 4-Way set up the sound guys started taking down the curtain and sound. More people where watching them then the ring.
Show Notes:
-27 People at the Show
- Ring sucked
- Two many skinny guys who sucked
-Stan Pain should spend more time learning how to run a show instead of on the Internet
-NightBreed is a solid team and really looked good in singles action
-Bailey, Dunn,NightBreed and Kross are all really good and should really just wrestle elsewhere.
- Overall it could have been worse not much but pretty darn close!
