Fire Pro Wrestling: Lethal Lottery results (10.20.07)
Show opened up with Double J drawing the first competitor for the night, “Hot Bod” Shawn Davis.
1. Hard Target 24/7 Championship: Christopher Kent (c) def. “Hot Bod” Shawn Davis
-after the match, Prince Ali came out and distracted Christopher allowing Dave Allen to come in through the crowd and roll up Christopher to become the new Hard Target 24/7 Champion. Dave then ran to the back celebrating with Prince Ali.
-Scott Powers then came out and issued an open bounty against anyone that would be willing to take Osyris down. Powers was humiliated that Osyris defeated his man, Machine at the last show and wanted payback. Osyris was not afraid to back down from the challenge.
2. Osyris def. Ash Sanchez
-Osyris def. Hoss (as ordered to try to collect from Hayze)
-Osyris vs. “the Master Technician” Jay Phoenix was thrown out when Machine hit the ring and both Machine and Phoenix laid waste to “the Juggernaught” Osyris.
-Both tag teams Oil Enterprises (Dave Allen + Prince Ali) and Body Count (Allure + Starks) came out to the ring. Double J had a fan flip a coin telling them that one of them would be wrestling a lottery tag team match right now, the other would be wrestling the tag team champs later on that night. The coin toss revealed that Body Count would get the title shot. Double J then had the fans pick the lottery matches for the upcoming 6-man tag team match and the tag team match about to take place.
3. Oil Enterprises def. Gilbert Lewis + “the Moustache Model” Carl Morris
-after the match, Christopher Kent ran out in an attempt to get his title back. This then turned into a 6 man brawl featuring Christopher Kent pairing up with Dave Allen, Gilbert Lewis pairing up with Prince Ali and Fuzion pairing up with Shawn Davis (Davis hit the ring in an attempt to get the 24/7 Championship as well). It looked like Chris was going to be able to take back the title when Dave Allen was taken off the ropes, held on and ran quickly out of the venue.
4. “Diehard” Steve Szoke def. Cade Lee w/ Lynn Marie
-special stipulation match, is Diehard lost, he would have to kiss Cade Lee’s boots in front of all the fans. If Cade Lee lost, then he would have to lie down on his back and allow any kid who wanted to get in the ring, stand on Cade Lee’s chest, raise the Heavyweight Title and get their picture take to do so.
-Before the match started, however, Cade Lee informed the audience that he went to the Fire Pro Championship Committee and had them review the singles win/loss record of Diehard and it was determined that Diehard did not have enough wins to warrant a title shot unless Cade Lee wanted to offer it to him. As a result, this match was a non-title match. But, since Diehard won this match, the title will be on the line in December with Diehard as the #1 contender.
5. Kenny Courageous, Hoss + “Superstar” Chris Styles def. Devon Fury, “Youngblood” Hayden Kent + Fuzion
6. Fire Pro Tag Team Title Match: Risk Factor (Roach + Jynx) def. Body Count (Allure + Starks)
7. Battle Royal to determine who will wrestle Cade Lee in the main event Nov. 17th. There were 4 names drawn from the Villains bucket and 4 names from the Heroes bucket.
-Daniel Allure, Kenny Courageous, Hoss + Prince Ali
-Hayden Kent, Roach, Christopher Kent + Carl Morris
Roach was able to survive the battle royal by eliminating Kenny Courageous to win the title shot in November.
8. Pride Title Texas Strap Match: Chase “the Face” Richards def. “the Regulator” Tristin Hayze
-after the match, Hayze shook Chase’s hand and raised it up, giving him the credit for getting the best out of him. Hayze then left the ring and went to the back. While Chase had his back turned, Hayze then ran back out and gave him the sickest superkick (while wearing cowboy boots). Hayze then laid out Chase with the title and while unconscious, cut Chase’s hair. “the Moustache Model” Carl Morris ran out to make the save, but not before Hayze cut a lot of hair off the Pride Champion.
Next show: Nov. 17th GROUND ZERO
Fire Pro is asking their fans (and wrestlers) to bring canned goods (or other non-perishable items) to the next show as Fire Pro is partnering with Impact Christian Church in doing a food drive for the Chicagoland Christian Service Center. The Center is located on the west side and not only provides a food pantry, but offers clothing for those in need and provides anti-gang alternatives for children in the area. Fire Pro Wrestling will also be donating all the money made from concessions that night to help purchase perishable food for the Center. We highly encourage our fans and wrestlers to take this opportunity to take part in this project.
