And now for the VWAA detailed report for Hardcore Halloween on 10-27-07. The event started with the announcement of Bobby-J as referee for the opening bout. He was done up like a “blind-man” and was very playful and light-hearted with the VWAA fans who cheered him on. However; when Bobby entered the ring, Studd Muffin’s music hit and quickly filled Industrial Studio with disharmony. Apparently J.J. Valiant was not only disgusted at the lack of seriousness displayed by a VWAA referee, Bobby’s protest to have Studd Muffin “put in his place” was the main thought on Valiant’s mind. As punishment, Studd Muffin decreed that Bobby-J was to ring announce for the night and that a real referee, Steve Cain, would replace Bobby as referee for the night.
Match #1: Lamar Titan-vs-The Closer, Rick Walsh w/ Alpha Bitz This match was dubbed as a prelude to the tag-team tournament scheduled for 11-9-07 in Orland Park. If in fact the events in the match are any indication as to how the tournament will unfold, then Titan and TS will be victorious over The Furies. Rick Walsh controlled most of the match, but a very quick roll-up gained Titan a victory over #72 which “closed” the match for “The Closer.” Winner via pin-fall; Lamar Titan
Match#2: The Amazin Kuan-vs-Mr M-80 Marshe’ Rockett Kuan had Ovirload ringside with him for the match and Marshe’ had C-Red and Dymond in his corner. These two took it to each other main event style mainly because of the stakes at hand. If Kuan lost the match, Team KO had to unmask and give them to C-Red, but if Kuan was able to pull a win over Marshe’ then Team KO would be back in the VWAA tag-team tournament. After a long, hard-fought match, Mr. M-80 was counted-out due to misplaced attention on Ovirload. This infuriated C-Red. An attack that the VWAA had not yet seen unfolded in the ring. To add to the mayhem, the rest of The Vanguard VIP Family came down to the ring along with Studd Muffin and Miss Harley. After C-Red took out Kuan with a figure four he asked Valiant for a handicapped match against Ovirload. His opponents would be Dameon Dunn and Willie Richardson. The match was easily agreed to and Ovirload was quickly overcome, defeated and continually beaten. Winner by count-out: The Amazin Kuan – additional match winner via pin-fall: Dameon Dunn and Willie Richardson
Match #3: The Urban Gladiator, Trauma-vs-The Lone Unholy One, Baltazar Power, strength and skill are what both men in this match possessed an equal amount of, however Baltazar had the backing of the VWAA fans and Lilith Valiant on his side whereas Trauma had only C-Red and Dymond to back him up. Whenever C-Red or Dymond interfered, Lilith was there to cut them off at the pass and they tried to interfere repeatedly. Kudos to Trauma for taking Baltazar to the limit. He alone has perhaps been Baltazar’s toughest opponent to date in the VWAA and came very close to many pin falls on the man from Mideon, but in the end, Baltazar caught Trauma in a power move to finish the Urban Gladiator off for the pin. Winner by pin-fall: Baltazar
Match #4: Sal DiNero-vs-TS Thomas Sinclair The fans were not sure who to back in this match. Sinclair simply doesn’t like, or want, fans to cheer him, but Sal DiNero is nothing more than a complete shyster, however the two wrestled a classic move-for-move style match that was more than entertaining. Sal’s “big move” of the match was an airplane spin that nearly made him vomit in the ring. He was so dizzy that he semi passed out and kissed the mat. Sinclair took advantage of DiNero in the prone position and attacked his back, and as anyone knows, DiNero has the weakest back in the business. Attacking it almost guarantees victory, as it did Sinclair. Winner via pin-fall: TS Thomas Sinclair
Match #5: The Hardcore Halloween fatal 4-way with VWAA hardcore rules: The Machine-vs-Mad Dog Ivan Manson-vs-Juggalo J-City-vs-#27 Mitch Blake Tables, chairs, fire extinguishers and signs were the main weapons of choice for the wrestlers in this match. The one additional factor no one saw coming was Squanto, and neither did Ratt or Machine. Squanto attacked Ratt taking him down which brought Machine out of the ring. The brawl continued in the ring for Ivan, J-City and Blake, but now one raged out of the ring that eventually spilled back to the locker room and out into the Industrial Studio parking lot. Machine never returned to the ring as a result. Ivan and Blake teamed up and beat J-City to a pulp and put him through a table and rolled him out of the ring. The two then scuffled so fiercely that they tired each other out enough that they paid no attention to Juggalo J-City return to the ring, grab the Dark Crown of Wrestling and the Sledge Scepter and earn the lone ten count in the middle of the VWAA ring to gain the victory and become the first Hardcore King of the VWAA.
C-Red’s Super-Hero Battle Royal: Super-Girl, Iron Man, Spider Man, Baltazar-Red, Val Venis, The Dead Furies, Captain Jack Sparrow and Venom were a few of the entrants into this contest, but of them all, the most surprising had to be the return of “SAL-DARKMAN.” Every year, Sal-Darkman comes out of hiding and manages to wrap enough gauze around his head and hands to “hide his identity” and wrestle in the super-hero battle royal. Of course, no one really cares about him, but he still manages to come to the ring this one night anyway to cause havoc. (This means he gets eliminated.) After the smoke cleared, Iron Man stood alone in the ring, but it didn’t end there. Iron Man chose to reveal his secret by removing his helmet. C-Red was the man behind the mask. A TRUE BATTLE ROYAL CHAMPION, all others are just fakes!

Studd Muffin overturned Bobby's decision in a match. At the Halloween show, Studd made Bobby the ring announcer for the night,.. basically, he's complaining about abuse of power and wants to have Studd Muffin leashed. I believe there's more on the topic in "Psychosis with BobbyJ" in the Shills area.
