NWA Central States Wrestling presents "Reloaded"
National Guard Armory, Lawrence, KS
February 2, 2008
Three-Way Dance
Jaysin Strife def. "Babyface" Tony Cortez & Hype Gotti when he pinned Hype following a reverse huracanrana
Tyler Cook def. "#1" Brett Young by pinfall after rolling through a springboard crossbody by Young
Domino Rivera def. Derek Stone by DQ
Stone's pinfall victory was reversed after a carefully planted foreign object was noticed by the referee
Mark Sterling and "Showtime" Darrien Sanders wrestled to a time limit draw. The fans chanted 5 more minutes, but Sterling exited the ring.
No-Rope, Barbed-Wire NWA Central States Championship Match
Champion Michael Strider def. "The Rebel" Jeremy Wyatt by pinfall after a Cradle of Death onto thumbtacks
After the match, Strider attempts to shake Wyatt’s hand, but Wyatt gives him the bird and leaves instead. When Wyatt left, two masked men ran to the ring and destroyed Strider. Wyatt returned to the ring, but actually HELPED Strider. Brett Young unexpectedly ran out to help his former stable-mate (Wyatt), but was quickly followed out by a third masked man to even things out. While the masked men got the upper hand, Derek Stone ran out in an attempt to defend CSW's best. However, he was quickly disposed of by quick shots to his surgically repaired ankle.
As the masked men stood tall, they revealed themselves to be: Tyler Cook, former protege to Mark Sterling and a challenger for the NWA Kansas Title; Jaysin Strife, former NWA Midwest X Division Champ; and Payday Patterson, who had been retired from wrestling after the conclusion of a Best of Seven series against Michael Strider back in March of 2006.
The young, newly minted evil-doers stomped on the fallen CSW wrestlers and cursed the name “CSW” and the fans before finally exiting the building.
Hype Gotti eventually made it to the ring to lend assistance.
