The show opened with the announcement that WCPW owner Sam DeCero had to leave due to an emergency, & that WCPW booker Bret Sanders would be the man in charge.
Ryu Shinzaki d. Marco Rossi
WCPW Lightweight Champion V-Factor d. Bart Banggs
In his debut WCPW match newcomer Bart Banggs took V-Factor to the limit, but in the end V-Factor was victorious with a high cross body from the top rope.
Acid Jaz & Sean Mulligan: No-Contest
In a fast paced back & forth match almost came to an end when Jaz, Mulligan & referee Hammy all collided. Referee Bob Zaja came in to make count but both Mulligan & Jaz made it to their feet before the ten count. Both men exchanging big punches Jaz finally ducks a clothesline by Mulligan turning it into a roll-up off the ropes into a bridge but Jaz's shoulders were down. A groggy Hammy counted shoulders at the same time as Zaja and both had a different winner.
Bret Sanders came to the ring discus the situation with the referees & decided to ask Mulligan, Jaz, & the fans if they wanted five more minutes. A stubborn Sanders not wanting anyone making his decision for him decided it would be a no-contest and the WCPW Board would decide who would be the number one contender.
Jaz, & Mulligan not happy with this decision decided to take matters into their own hands. Jaz spinning Sanders around spitting the "Hot Chocolate Mist" in his eyes then hitting his "Breakdance" fist drop followed by Mulligans "Jameson" fist drop.
Carlos Rivers d.WCPW Heavyweight Champion "Acumen" Austin Roberts by DQ
In a special challenge match Carlos Rivera suprised Roberts on a few occasion early on in the match almost getting a couple pin-falls. But Roberts finally took over & destroyed Rivera, Austin was disqualified after throwing the referree to the mat hitting Rivera with a steel chair.
Roberts continued his beating hitting the pedigree on the chair. Roberts was finally run off when The Rooks, Rudo Cortes, DTA, & Zom hit the ring.
Gavin Dunn d. Curse
Gavin Dunn was more aggressive than we have ever seen him before taking the fight to Curse. In the final moments of the match Curse hits the "Widows Peak" on Dunn but decides to pull him up at the count of two, going for a second finishing move Dunn turns it into a roll up pinning Curse.
Almost immediately Curse was putting the boots to Dunn, followed by the first appearance by Richard T. Sins new henchman NOOSE they wrapped a black hangmens noose around Dunns head and hung him over the top rope. The attack continued even seeing referees Hammy & Bob Zaja falling victim to the evil duo. Finally Jaz & Mulligan made the save but the example was made & the damage was already done. Richard T. Sin even in his abscence orchestrated a vicious attack that might leave Gavin Dunn's carear in jeapordy.
The Rooks survived a Double Elimination Tag- Team Battle Royal to retain the WCPW Tag Team Titles.
The end the royal saw Mike Anthony eliminate Curtis of The Rooks, after hitting the floor Curtis held on to Anthony's leg allowing Vanity & Greed to throw him over the top rope leaving Barry of the Rooks to defend his titles on his own against both Vanity & Greed. Mike Anthony then pounded Curtis then threw him into the ring post leaving him knocked out on the floor.
The young rookie Barry P showed his is getting better every time he steps in the ring, reversing an irish whip into the corner by Vanity into a sunset flip, but Vanity with the help of Greed wouldn't go down locking hands until Curtis coming to his senses saw what was happening pulled Greed off the apron allowing Barry to score the pinfall.
After the match Vanity looked like a man possesed spearing Greed out of his boots then slamming him thru the ring. Greed was still out cold in the ring when ring crew started tearing down. I guess this is the end of this team.
Some side notes.
Some key members of the WCPW roster were overheard talking on the phone with the injured Richard T. Sin.
Gavin Dunn was taken to the hospital sunday afternoon complaining of numbness in his feet. This may be a result of the hanging by Curse & Noose.
