Fire Pro Wrestling: Feb. 16th 2008: Heartbreak Hotel
1. Qualifying Match for the Bane's Pride Tournament: "Luscious" Louis Linaris def. "Jumping Jambalaya" Devon Fury
-the Uprising ("Warfare" Jeremy Hadley + "Mucho Loco" Luis Rojas) stormed the ring, Hadley bringing along the Last Man Standing Trophy he had won last month. Hadley asked Double J if they had a guaranteed Tag Title shot later in the night against Risk Factor? Double J told them they indeed did. Hadley then traded in his Trophy (a Title shot of his choosing and time of his choosing) demanding a match with Risk Factor right then and there. Roach and Jynx came out and were immediately jumped by the Uprising. Jynx was tossed outside the ring and the Uprising used a chair on Roach's right arm. As a result, the match was ruled a disqualification. "the Big Jack" John Burke (Fire Pro Commissioner) came out and told Uprising that due to their tactics, they would NOT be rewarded with a Tag Title shot as was scheduled. However, Roach grabbed the mic and told them he didn't care. Even with 1 arm, Risk Factor would end things with them tonight.
While there, Burke and Double J informed the fans that earlier today while cutting a promo about next months Pride Tournament, "Diehard" Steve Szoke and Cade Lee had an altercation. The film kept rolling and everything was caught on tape. The tape then played showing Cade Lee challenging Szoke to no-rules street fight match for the Heavyweight Title. Szoke accepted and they did it right then and there. In the end, "Diehard" Steve Szoke put Cade Lee in a full nelson and forced him to quit, becoming the new Fire Pro Heavyweight Champion.
After that, Burke had 1 more announcement. That, yes, the Honky Tonk Man was in the building and would be wrestling tonight. But in addition, Fire Pro Wrestling has booked for May 31st, both Ax + Smash of Demolition.

3. Qualifying Match for the Bane's Pride Tournament: "Da Juggernuaght" Osyris def. Virus
4. The Newest of the New Techno Breed 2000 (Hoss + "Handsome" Kenny Courageous) def. the Groucho Marks (Gilbert Lewis + "the Moustache Model" Carl Morris) to become 1 Contenders for the Tag Team Titles nest month
-Devon Fury came out and tried to stop Kenny from cheating and when Devon went to hit Kenny, Kenny dodged and accidentally hit Gilbert. Kenny, capitalizing on the miscue rolled Gilbert up with a hand full of tights for the win.
5. Pride Title Match: Chase "the Face" Richards def. "the Roughneck" Jay Ryan
-Chase accomplished quite a feat in taking the title, year to year without a loss. After the match, Syn, Linaris, PT and Tristin Hayze jumped Chase. This then led to Osryris and the Kent Boys making the save. These 8 men are the final contestants for next months Pride Tournament.
6. Tag Team Title Match: Risk Factor (Roach + Jynx) def. the Uprising (Hadley + Rojas)
-During the match, Roach re-injured his arm and was escorted to the back. However, when Jynx needed him, Roach ran out from the back with a huge brace on his arm, helping lead them to victory.
7. Fire Pro Heavyweight Title Match: "Diehard" Steve Szoke def. Machine
8. the Honky Tonk Man and the Kent Boys def. "the Regulator" Tristin Hayze, Syn + "Flawless" Dave Allen
-the Honky Tonk Man finished the match giving Hayze the "shake, rattle + roll" and then clocked Syn upside the head with a guitar.
Next month:
The Bane's Pride Tournament: As stated in the Pride Title By-Law's, the Title reverts into the Tournament every March. Whoever the champion is at that time must enter the tournament and win the entire tournament to remain the Champion. Chase is going in with a perfect under his belt and is still the odds on favorite to bring the belt home.
