Crowd was 1,400
NWA Pro presented a "Wrestling Showcase" TV taping this past Friday, April 18 in Lincoln, Rhode Island with Sid Vicious. Indy Wrestling News reporter Juan Alvarado was there and sent in results and pictures!

Josh Daniels pinned The Inferno Kid with a roll up
Former NWA World Tag Team Champion Joey Ryan pinned Fred Sampson following a superkick
Kristen Gallo defeated Minion
The Playaz Club defeated The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) when Joey Ryan interfered and superkicked one of the Jackson's behind the referee's back
Sid Vicious pinned Joe So Delicious following a powerbomb as the fans went crazy
Shortsleeve Sampson defeated The Masked Midget with a roll up
Judas Young and Rob Conway went to a no contest after interference that led to most of the locker room coming out and brawling amongst each other. Fans began to chant "We Want Sid" who was more than happy to oblige the crowd as he made his way to the ring and cleaned house until only he and Judas Young remained. After the two celebrate, Judas leaves the ring as the crowd continued to go nuts for Sid.
In other show notes:
The NWA World Tag Team Champions Los Luchas (Phoenix Star & Zokre) did not appear as advertised and no announcement was made about it at all. The crowd enjoyed the show and was into most of it, especially for Sid who they went crazy for. The only major negative about the show was there were a lack of clean finishes. The Young Bucks have some really cool moves. Overall it was a fun show, very enjoyable.

Joey, Joey, Joey. The lack of clean finishes is due to the fact that they are shooting for TV. TV is where you show your angles, dq's, blah blah blah. Otherwise you can't get your storylines across to the public. When you shoot TV that's what's important. That's what TV's for. You should know that.........you............you.... ah whatever

Ed,
I literally copy and pasted what was put in the review. I didn't want to get in trouble by deleting anything. I understand that. Some people don't though

Absence makes the heart grow fonder. I wouldn't mind Sid if he was doing a 911 type thing.

Joey, no problem I know you did. Just my rebuttal, and a way to rib you. Now Jake, what do you mean? Let me remind you that Sid went out on top when he broke his leg. He never was past his prime at that time. More people from that era, and younger remember him as a Monster. I got news, He still is. Joey, by the way where do you get those pictures? If that guy could put on a few pounds he could be me...........

To be fair, nobody went out on top near the end of WCW.

Larry, If you're on top of a promotion during, or when it goes under the bottom line is you were on top. I don't remember when in the promotions run he broke his leg. Perhaps you, or someone else knows

He broke his leg at the January PPV Sin. That PPV drew 6000 people. The buyrate was probably somewhere around .10. WWF's PPV that month did over a 1.0 and drew more than twice as many as WCW did.
That match where Sid broke his leg was just a four way with Steiner as champ. The other two men were Jeff Jarrett and Road Warrior Animal under a mask.
I think its cool that Sid is back.

Wow. Larry tops Chuman. Amazing.
Sid was so stiff in his heyday. He was always a hell of a promo though. That whole "master and ruler of the world" line had me convinced when I was still just a mark.

Sid was pretty nuts on the promotional interview giving. No where near as intimidating as Jeff Farmer, though.
