Here is my rundown:
Rudo Cortez suffered badly April 18th with The Golden Sombrero as he went 0 for 4 with 3 losses coming in tag-team action. This week it didn't get any better as he incurred the wrath of his manager C-Red who missed the previous card as he was vacationing in The Bahamas. C-Red, prior to Rudo's singles rematch with Dave Rydell, took every opportunity to belittle his charge and make a mockery of Cortez as Remy Rainz efforts to defuse the situation proved to be futile. The icing on the cake was when C-Red hit Rudo's head with a skinny, steel rod and subsequently, Rydell rolled up his rival for the 1-2-3. Rainz was oblivious to the action's of the mexican manager as he had the referee distracted. Even though Cortez is going through the worst of times, Dave Rydell has now won 2 matches in a row as things are looking up for him.
Los Mexicanos & C-Red continued to bicker in the ring and the team then announced they wanted a tag match. Be careful for what you wish for as the saying goes as The Killing Machines entrance music came on immediately. As Stan Pain's charges hit the ring, C-Red & Los Mexicanos got the hell out of dodge as C-Red ran to the dressing room screaming in horror.
With Stan Pain & his charges now in the ring, out came the team of El Luchadore and The Vigilante. After the ring announcements and the bell, the two unknown masked men jumped the baddest tag-team in WAR. Of course it was going to infuriate Machine & The War Machine but the angriest man in the whole place was Stan Pain. "You made the biggest mistake of your lives," screamed the manager. After being attacked at the outset, The Killing Machines put on an exhibition of dominance that Stan Pain expects of his team. For what its worth, the two unknowns did last longer than Los Mexicanos did two weeks ago. After the match, Pain made reference to the tag-team tournament on May 30th as his confidence in his team is at a peak.
CORRECTION: Thunderfoot & Outlaw Shy lost their match to Prince Ali & Jake O'Neill via countout when Shy went to tend to his partner laying on the concrete floor and lost track of the referee's ten count.
Thunderfoot immediately ended up having a singles rematch with Brandon Blaze (with P.L. Myers.) The 8-Ball Cane of P.L. helped Blaze to victory as the 8-Ball top broke off the cane when it was used on The Arapaho Warrior. That black ball wasn't recovered.
Wings Of War Championship: Just like Dave Rydell, Rican was aided by C-Red who intentionally threw powder into the eyes of Remy Rainz costing him the match. After the match, Prince Ali challenged Rican to a tag match on the 16th as Rican will be looking for a partner. Jake O'Neill will tag with Ali again.
After the intermission......an all out brawl ensued between Nickie Sixx & "Diehard" Jeff Luxon right after the opening bell. These two went after each other tooth and nail throughout the match as "The Suicide King" got busted open for the second straight week. Sixx did go on to get disqualiified when he body slammed Luzon into the single sow row of chairs on The Dojo's south wall.
What will be the first of many wars, Cash Money took on The Chicago Syndicate. Steve Boz of the Syndicate had another run-in with a bag of cheetos & the same fan who had a bigger bag this time around. Boz jumped out of the ring once again during the match and grabbed the fans cheetos but this time he rammed them down the throat of T.L. Money. Then Boz threw the remainder of the bag out on to the floor. The Syndicate wins via pinfall and gets one up on Milo & T.L.
WAR Heavyweight Championship: After splitting the first two falls, the action and intensity really picked up between Acid Jaz & Marshe Rockett. After Jaz scored the first fall with the aid of his cocoa powder, Rockett not once but twice was able to surprise the now former champion with Dymond Cutters for second and third falls!!! After Rockett received his new belt, he was appreciative of Jaz for the opportunity and then the two friends embraced as a contingent of WAR fan favorites looked on celebrating for Marshe.
