Hey Gang, Skitz M. Jones here again bringing you the latest news and reviews from POWW Entertainment!
The night started off with Master J in the ring welcoming the M.O.B. to his show "The Orange Room"- including new M.O.B. member/manager- Justin James. Master J declared that he hand picked James as his replacement when Jimmy Blaze suspended Master J indefinately from managerial duties. Justin James stated that Wild Mayhem- his former clients as manager, are a sinking ship. He also made it known that Brandon Bishop (who was not with the M.O.B. in the ring at this time) was still not returning their phonecalls, and said the problem was the fans that had been getting into his head.
Outta Control came out to the ring, and Jimmy Blaze told the fans that Bishop is a member of the National Guard- and as such has a whole extra set of priorities that the M.O.B. just couldn't understand.
Pure Evil came out to the ring next and Dehok grabbed the mic to tell Blaze that OC had bigger things to deal with than worrying about Bishop and the M.O.B. Namely- them, and the world title shot they were giving OC that night. Joey Cece on the mic next said they might as well have the match right then- as long as both teams were out at the ring.
Scott Spade and Cece kicked it off, and Cece easily overpowered Spade, then tagged Blaze in. A little more action and Cece was tagged back in, and OC delivered duel chops special delivery to the chest of Dehok, followed by Cece giving a snapmare, a Hennig neck snap, and a short drop kick. Blaze back in delivered a purple nurple to the bare chested demon. The action continued in a back and forth manor until Dehok went for a big drop kick, but Blaze saw it coming and managed to hold on to the ropes to avoid the connection, and when Dehok came up self-congratulatory Blaze was there to capitalize. Eventually both Dehok and Blaze we left laying, but Cece got a quit tag and cleaned hour, but when Cece went to spear Spade, instead he hit his own partner Blaze, putting him down to the mat, and cost his team the match. Spade scored the pinfall with feet on the ropes, and Cece and Blaze began to argue. Nikki even came into the ring to try to separate the two men, and was caught inadvertaintly by Jimmy who knocked her down.
The team settled shortly, relaxing in each other's embraces, and forgiving the misteps.
Next up was X-con and Steve Boz. Boz kicked off by out pacing Con, but everytime it looked like Boz was a step ahead of Con, Con would lay him out with a vicious clubbing blow. Back and forth the two went, between Boz's speed and Con's power. The tide turned in Boz's favor when he scored a big spin kick to the face out of nowhere, followed by Boz continuing to unleash his pinpoint accurate feet on Con. Con hit Boz with yet another clubbing blow, and then ducked to the outside to grab some chairs. Ruff Crossing stopped Con from using the chairs, then throwing off his sling proceded to tattoo Con with assorted punishment- giving Con the win by DQ.
Crossing on the mic announced that he was stepping down as Deput. Commish, but his last act was to schedule Con and Crossing for King of the Royal. He then chased Con to the back.
M.O.B. faced off with one of the members of Wild Mayhem in Matt Mayhem, who came to the ring and told the fans that M.O.B. had beaten his partner earlier that week while they were out on the road. Mayhem held out for quite some time, taking it to the M.O.B.'s Trevor Blanchard and Tommy Capone before the numbers game just started to overwhelm. Shades of the previous week saw the M.O.B. trying to properly double team Mayhem, but being unable to see on the same side of the page.
Mayhem capitallizes and knocked out both M.O.B. members, then pushed Justin James off the ring apron, followed by kissing Jade ful on. Capone took offence to this as he nailed Mayhem with a superkick, and then Blanchard hit his ddt for the pinfall. Mayhem was escorted to the back after being unable to move on his own.
After this, Nick H came to the ring to brag about his man Warm Carlos' record breaking time in beating Joey Cece.
Cece came out and told Nick to put up or shut up. Nick H agreed to a match, and right after the bell Cece pointed behind Nick and said someone was messing with Nick's rebel flag, allowing Cece to take advantage, and score the sudden pin.
Eric Freedom came out next to see who Terry Allen had picked to face the World Title Challenger next mind picked a perfect adversary, the former Regional Champ Chris Carok. Cairo proved that he is just too fast to face to the hippy right off the bat, which allowed Freedom much needed time to set up for what i can only imagine is the part that was missing from the first bell. First Freedom cried foul saying he was there for a straight mat wrestling match, old school. Then after being mocked by Cairo, Freedom stopped moving forward and hit the mat hard crying out in pain and clutching his leg. Security began to help Freedom to the back, but as soon as Cairo took his eye off the retreating hippy, Freedom took off like a shot, slamming Cairo's head into the steel steps, and then scoop slamming him onto the hard tile floor of the venue. Freedom tried pinning using the ropes, but the ref broke it off. The beatdown continued and Cairo got more and more worn down until Freedom locked him in the sleeper. Cairo rallied and shot Freedom off the ropes and into a sleeper of his own. Freedom powered out, but Cairo hit a rotating ddt off the 2nd rope for a 2 count. Cairo then attempted the Bum Rush, but Freedom caught him with a low kick to the groin, followed by the Bad Things. Digging the nightstick out of a turn buckle Freedom got ready to put Cairo away for good, but Terry Allen ran down and grabbed the weapon, and the distraction was enough to let Cairo get the roll up for the victory.
Black Iron against Gary the Freak came next, and The Freak brought it right out of the gate hitting move after move leaving Iron all over the ring and claiming the the ref (falsely) that The Freak was grabbing the tights the whole time for illegal leverage. Iron sends Freak off the ropes and drops down, but instead of the hope over to the other side, Freak dropped down next to Iron and startled the mysterious M.O.B. member. When Iron tried to do the same to The Freak, Freak just laughed and bounced Iron's face off the canvas. As soon as Iron had the opportunity to put Freak on the ropes and distract the ref, he did so, allowing for Justin James to choke the colorful hero on the ropes. After that, Iron nailed Freak with a double leghook cradle piledriver. Tommy Capone and Iron then distracted the ref as Trevor Blanchard choped Freak's chest raw. Iron continued the high impact offense with a fisherman's suplex and a back cracker. A 2nd rope leg drop gave up a 2 count. When Freak returned to his feet, he ducked a wild swing by Iron, and followed it with a kick to the gut and a stunner, followed by a suplex. But Jade and Justin James distracted the ref while Tommy Capone nailed the superkick, and Iron crawled over to make the pin. M.O.B. continued to beatdown Gary the Freak until Matt Mayhem ran down with a chair to make the save. It was then anounced that at King of the Royals Wild Mayhem with Gary the Freak will take on the M.O.B.
The final match of the night saw two champions in action as World Champion Terry Allen faced Eric Freedom's choice of opponent- Regional Champion Kanoa.
TA attempted to end it early with a quick go-behind roll up to pin, but Kanoa is no pushover. A mistiming on a TA splash, which cost TA dearly. TA did a good job of throwing Kanoa around the ring for a bit, but Kanoa returned in kind with a GTS, a sharp kick, a somewhat subtle choke, and just continued the abuse of TA pointing at Freedom and telling TA to say goodbye to his World Title. A Lei to Waste, followed by hanging TA on the ropes left Melanie Cruise with the opportunity to choke TA. But when Kanoa rushed at TA to follow it up, he was met with a couple boots, and then a senton from the ring apron over the top rope to Kanoa's prone form on the mat. The two men traded rolling pin attempts, with niether gaining convincing ground. Kanoa threw TA outside the ring and then drew the attention of the ref allowing Freedom to attack. Kanoa set TA on the top turnbuckle, and drop kicked him into the tree of woe. 2 drop kicks while in the t.o.w. put TA back down, and as Melanie now distracted the ref, Kanoa and Freedom both carved out a few pieces of the World Champ. TA managed to get to the apron however, and nail a top rope springboard moonsault to the outside of the ring taking out Kanoa and Freedom. The ref got knocked out in the ring, and TA and Kanoa continued to brawl as Freedom measured his spot from outside. TA sunk in the sharpshooter, but Melanice attacked, TA was ready to retaliate when Freedom rushed back in, and with Kanoa took it to TA. Sexy Sandra D rushed into the ring and speared Melanie right off her feet and proceeded to rip into the vicious woman. Cairo came out to chase after Kanoa, leaving TA to handle Freedom. Jimmy Blaze came out to restore some order and announce that at King of the Royals, it will be TA and Freedom in a best 2 out of 3 falls matchup. And as for Kanoa and Melanie Cruise, they had better be ready for June 7th, as they're be taking on TA and Sandra D in a tag match, with Eric Freedom as the special guest ref.
The feuds seem like they can't get any wilder or more intense- and then they do! Can't wait to see what happens next! See you at the show.
