Chris Hamilton def. Gilbert Lewis
The opening match of the night saw Gilbert Lewis, returning to Wicked Wrestling looking to toughen himself up, taking on the fast-rising Chris Hamilton. After a pre-match "dance-off", the two fan-favorites kept trying to one-up each other, but in the end, it was Hamilton who scored the pin with an inside cradle.
The Sin City Icons def. The Gridiron Grapplers
Two new additions to the tag team ranks squared off next, looking to make an impact in the division and show Wicked Wrestling fans what they had to offer. After the smoke cleared, it was the Sin City Icons who stood victorious.
Machine def. JT Simmons
Looking to realign himself in the WWA Title picture, Machine took on The Urban Freebird's official bartender, JT Simmons. After battering Simmons from pillar to post, the WWA's resident monster laid Simmons to rest with a thunderous spinebuster.
The Kent Brothers def. "The Mustache Model" Carl Morris & The Shnogg
Due to being up for several nominations at the annual AVN Awards, The Philadelphia Sex Machines sent their "Sexual Trainee" Carl Morris instead to battle their rivals the Kent Brothers.
Morris upped the bizarre ante by calling out The Shnogg as his partner, but the Kents were unfazed as they ripped apart the makeshift team, sending a message to the PSM that next time, it would be them on the mat.
The Urban Freebirds def. Roach & Rion Skillz
Throughout the match, their final shot at the WWA Tag Team Titles, Roach opted to keep fighting as opposed to making a tag to his fresher partner, a choice that seemed to be the last straw for Skillz, as after finally getting the tag, he nailed Roach and left him to Willie "Da Bomb" and Trauma.
Just as things seemed bleak, however, Roach's old partner Machine arrived on the scene to send the tag champs scattering!
Angus McDuff def. Shamus McDuff
This match between brothers was made more personal by the recent passing of Shamus' father, and in his honor, both McDuffs brought out the best in each other in a match many believe to be the match of the night.
In the end, however, it was Angus' experience that allowed him to counter Shamus' high-flying Face Breaker for the win. After the bell, both brother reconciled with an embrace as Angus is now considered by many to be the top contender to the WWA Title.
Tristan Hayze def. Syn
Due to the constant interference of The Urban Freebirds in Tristan's title matches, WWA Manager Melissa Storm handed down the decision that during this match, any member of The Urban Freebirds coming within 10 feet of the ring would be suspended, and Tristan himself would lose the WWA Championship.
Forced to use his own skills to take on WWA cornerstone Syn, Tristan showed why he is considered to be one of the best undiscovered talents in independent wrestling today. At the conclusion of the match, a double-pin seemed as though Syn had won the title, but the official ruled that Tristan had scored the pin. After the match, the "Sultan of Slither" gained a measure of revenge on the referee by slapping on the Cobra Clutch!
