Once again here are some thoughts on the show from one of our fans. Just his opinion good or bad. Thanks again to Ike Turner.
1 Dr.Blue/ Johnnie Watts....while i think Watts has a lot of potential, its hard to see it when paired against Blue. I think Watts has what it takes to be really good. He kind of reminds me of Chuck Taylor when i first saw Chuck in CCW.
Cody Ray Strong/Chris Phoenix...the match was bad. Strong looks like Lesnar and i can see some hope in him, but the other guy is just plain bad. He was in the worst match on the card 2 weeks running.
J Grunge/Shank Barzini .....had it not been for Dingo and Davey, this would have been match of the night. Im a big Shank fan and Grunge really brought his A game last night. From the opening where Grunge was kicking away Shanks punches, to the karate chops, to the chops on the rail, to the suplex on the outside. Very good match.
Walt/Double R vs "Atomic Dogg" Ali Stevens......Everyone in the match is over with the crowd, which really helped this match IMO. On top of that RR was a trooper and really took a good beating from tha dog. Very good ending to this one with Walt leaving RR high and dry.
Full Throttle Aaron Scott & Brandon Marino/ Shawn Shultz &Primetime Allen Shepherd......decent match. There was a lot of running into each other and missed chances, but the ending was great. I have always heard that if a movie is bad in the middle, its ok if its got an ending and that was true in this match. The bigger member of Full Throttle is very good and he owned at the end of the match.
Dingo/Davey.....everything i expected. Started slow and then the two worked very well together. Im a big fan of both. I'd say this was the best wrestling CCW's seen since Quack and Claudio came to town and IMO it was better than their match. I'd have to go back to the Chris Hero days to find anything better. Props to the guys who made this happen.
In the end the show ran very smooth again and i really like the Walt vs CCW storyline. I know it seems played out, but it really gives each match a reason for happening and makes for a good story throughout the show. 2 weeks running, CCW has put on very solid shows.
