Look forward to hearing more about this show. Isn't this venue like a 1/4 mi. east of US14 in Harvard? I think I had been there before for Windy City.

Yes it is and Windy City ran there back in the late 80's early 90's

Yes, this was the site of the infamous riot. Frank was on that show, I don't remember Kev if you were shooting that night for us or not.

I was there, but chose to stay on the other side as to avoid getting hurt in the melee.

Thats when the Stratford said enough wrestling. A local "bad boy" from Harvard, if I remember correctly, took Iron Mike Samsons chain and hit him with it? Unless, I missed what you guys are talking about.
I went to the first CLPW show back in March, it was a great expierience. I'm looking forward to this upcoming show!

I feel bad for Marengo. My $ is on Chris Hamilton. You would love the Marengo Police force, Joe. They have some kind of sting going on just about every weekend. They are probably shooting an episode of "How to catch a predator". You may want to stay inside during the weekends. |

I was just talking about this "riot" with a brother of one of the "offenders" last night at a bar. He had forgot about that, but we recalled everything. If I remember correctly, Sampson and partner were in a Tag match with the Wrecking Crew (Melson and someone) and Sampson was walking back the aisle when the spectator grabbed his iron chain and smacked him with it. After that, all hell broke loose. Harvard PD was called to the scene and after that, I don't remember. I was A) Too young and B) Thought it was part of the show. lol
