To start the show a 10 bell salute was given to the memory of Steve "Botch" Szoke.
Nicholas H. came out and cut-off Mr Ricolo's opening segment. Nick H complained about Forsaken returning to Poww and why he was put in the battle royal in place of the injured WarmCarlos. Forsaken then joined Nick H in the ring and destroyed him in a matter of seconds. With Nick H going over the top rope the annual King of the Royals was set to begin.
Matt Mayhem out lasted all the participants and eliminating Black Iron to become the new King in Poww. During this battle royal Gary the Freak threw Trevor Blanchard over the top rope . Blanchard then dragged Freak over the top. Blanchard still irate took out his frustrations by nailing Freak with two chairshots to the body. Brandon Bishop then came out to halt the actions by Blanchard. As Blanchard left he couldn't resist one more final shot to the head of the one time former King.
The Chairman of the Board, Jimmy Blaze addressed the 200 fans that on June 21 at SUMMER XPLOSION the first inductees into the Poww hall of fame will be The Dream Warriors. Blaze celebrating his 18 years in the business was trained by the Dream Warriors. Jimmy Blaze then was interrupted by Melanie Cruise. Cruise demanded she should be in the battle royal on June 21. Blaze told Cruise she has bigger problems at SUMMER XPLOSION , as Cruise will face off against, SARA DEL REY. If Cruise wins she will have her chance in future battle royals.
In a slugfest Xcon pinned Ruff Crossing. After the match Outta Control Diva "Nikki" aided the dazed Crossing, only to be ordered to the locker room by Outta Control manager Sexy Sandra D. Crossing stunned at the latest actions by Outta Control.
Wild Mayhem along with their tag team partner Forsaken, who subbed for the injured Gary the Freak , beat M.O.B. members Trevor Blanchard ,Black Iron and Brandon Bishop when Bishop accidentally??? clothlined Black Iron . Mikey Wild then jumped on Iron for the pin fall. Manager Justin James fuming over the actions of Bishop got in Bishops face only to be pushed into the turnbuckles by the former world champion. Bishop then was attacked by the members of M.O.B. Bishop pissed at this point cleared the ring of Blanchard, Black Iron, Jade and Justin James . Brandon Bishop grabbed the mic and stated that he is thru with M.O.B. He has other business as he is leaving to spend the next 14 months in Iraq. His last show will be June 21 and wants the M.O.B. in a six man tag. Rick Paradise appeared and offered to tag with him . Paradise also offered the services of Jimmy Blaze.
Bishop obliqued . Justin James also added the stip that who ever loses cannot wrestled for 30 days. Come SUMMER XPLOSION June 21 Brandon Bishop, Rick Paradise and Jimmy Blaze will face Trevor Blanchard , Black Iron and Justin James in what appears to be Bishops last match for quite some time.
Chris Cairo won by Dq when Cairo was the victim of a Kanoa spine buster on top of a garbage can. Cairo then challenge Kanoa to a first ever dumpster match in Poww on June 21. Melanie Cruise also got in on some of the action.
For the Poww Tag Team titles, American History Next and Pure Evil battled to a no contest. Things got out of hand in this one as all four members fought and was completely out of control. Referee Parella threw the match out . Commissioner Paradise came out and stated that if they wanted to brawl they can do it JUNE 21 at SUMMER XPLOSION in a TEXAS TORNADO Match.
The Main Event; in a best 2 out of 3 falls for the Poww World Title, Eric Freedom started things off by replacing ring announcer Mr Ricolo with Vincent Stone. After Stone announced Freedom , Freedom went into a rant about "the broads." Meanwhile World Champion Terry Allen snuck in and climbed the ring post . As Allen flew of the top turn buckle the bell sounded and landed on Freedom ,quickly pinning him in record time. First fall - Allen.
The second fall went to Eric Freedom in a long hard fought match eventually Freedom pinning Allen.
In the third fall both men were disqualified . Unknowingly the ref was sandwiched by a Terry Allen leg sweep and a Freedom clothline. Now with the referee out and Allen feeling the effects of Freedoms dirty tactics, the hardcore hippie pulled out a metal baton and was about to issue some more pain to Allen when Sandra D ran in , threw some hard punches to the gut and then wrapped up Freedom with a flying scissors lock. Allen came to and applied the Allen wrench to the beaten hippie. When the referee finally got the cobwebs out he called for the bell. Terry Allen thought he won the fall but the ref declared a double DQ. But it wasn't over yet . Both men took their fight outside the ring and into the crowd. Jimmy Blaze then appeared to restore order. Blaze announced at SUMMER XPLOSION June 21 Allen vs Freedom in a Chicago Street Fight/Fans bring the weapons match. Freedom had to be escorted by security to the locker room.
