1) Ricochet/Troy Walters def. Ring Rydas & Sex, Drugs & Wrestling (Ash & Kris Chambers) to earn a spot in Candido Cup which will be held in October
2) Midnight Rider def. Vito Thomaselli. The end of the match came when Vito threw the Rider outside the ring and then Ian came walking out of the dressing room and went to the ticket table. Vito started freaking out and wondering who the Midnight Rider was since it wasn't Ian. A smaller Midnight Rider then rolled out from under the ring and jumped into the ring and rolled up Vito from behind for the pin. The smaller Rider then rolled out of the ring and back under it while the bigger Rider returned to the ring. Vito tried unmasking the Midnight Rider but he got away and back under the ring. Vito then went and pulled the Midnight Rider out from under the ring (smaller one) and told him to unmask. The Rider did and it was SAL THOMASELLI whom then proceeded to attack Vito. They brawled for a few before Vito ran to fight another day. Sal promised to hurt Vito the most painful way he knew how...by proving to be the better Thomaselli.
3) Mickie Knuckles def. Kimberly Kash with the Redneck Hangover kick to the face. Kimberly had came out at the start of the show bitching about Mickie getting to be on the TNA ppv and how unfair it was. Mickie came to the ringside area and asked Ian if she could wrestle Kimberly. It was decided that if Kimberly Kash could beat Mickie clean, that Ian would call Terry Taylor and give Mickie's spot on the ppv to Kimberly. Mickie broke Kimberly's nose very early in the match with a crossface but Kimberly put up a hell of a fight and almost won after hitting Mickie in the eyes with powder and then in the face with a chain but Mickie was able to recover and gain the victory and secure her spot on the ppv.
4) Jason Hades and Jayson Quick wrestled to a 25 minute time limit draw...Hades retains the IWA Mid-South World Light Heavyweight Title. This was a very back and forth even matchup between two of the top young stars in IWA. Quick had Hades pinned following a modified version of a Rubik's Cube but the 20 minute time limit expired before the three count was completed. The crowd chanted for five more minutes and both wrestlers agreed. The overtime period expired as Hades was trying to pin Quick following the Killswitch. Instead of going another 5 minutes, Ian decided to let the two decide things in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match as the opener on August 2nd at "Kings of the Crimson Mask."
5) Michael Elgin def. C.J. Otis via ground & pound knockout to retain the IWA Strong Style Title. Very hard hitting warfare between these two. The end came after several minutes of C.J. having worked over the back of Elgin with a Boston Crab. C.J. tried dragging Elgin back to the middle of the ring to avoid Elgin reaching the ropes. As he tried to turn Elgin back around into the Boston Crab, Elgin was able to spin out of it and caught C.J. off guard and after several strikes in the ground and pound position, the referee called for the bell. Christian Able then ran out and attacked Elgin as he was trying to recover and catch his breath. Able knocked out Elgin with an impressive head drop suplex and stood over the fallen champion before leaving with his training partner C.J. Otis.
6) Brian Skyline def. Josh Abercrombie in a huge upset that was sparked solely due to the arrogance of Josh. Josh was roughing up Skyline and severely bloodied his nose (had to take time to mop the floor after the match) but Skyline was fighting back. Josh kept standing on Skyline with one foot and "raising the roof" and then even took a seat in the front row to admire his work after beating on Skyline on the floor. Josh started getting frustrated that Skyline kept fighting back and giving him all he could handle. Josh then hit the Taliban Backpack but didn't go for the pin. This allowed Skyline to recover enough to execute a quick grapevine cradle for the pinfall. Josh then got on the mic and started to complain about being a stepping stone and not being the main eventer that he deserves to be after holding the Light Heavyweight Title for over a year and turning it into a World Title. He complained about "stache power" and being viewed as a joke. He declared his intentions about wanting to become IWA World Heavyweight Champion and Clabobby posted that Josh shaved his moustache. I didn't see it but Josh was definitely stacheless when I saw him later that night.
7) Rahim Ali, Ethan Page, Michael Rollins & Dave Allen def. Jeff Brooks, Kid Hybrid, Stephen Saint & Anthony Brock in a very exciting action packed 8 man tag with lucha rules. The finish to the match brought the crowd to a standing ovation as Ali hit an inverted 450!!!!
8. Dingo def. Jaysin Strife in a heated battle that is far from being over. After Dingo got the pinfall, he got up on the ropes and started celebrating with the fans. Strife attacked him from behind and went to the floor and grabbed a large thick chain that he must have hidden under the ring before the show and pummeled Dingo reopening the gash over his eye that required stitches last month. Strife then wrapped the chain around Dingo's neck and tossed him over the top rope hanging Dingo. After regaining his senses a few minutes later, Dingo refused help to the back and ran to the dressing room full of intensity hoping to find Strife. Strife either had already left or was able to find a good hiding place. Ian then calmed down Dingo by agreeing to put Dingo vs. Strife onto the Crimson Mask show in a Dog Collar match as the first of 8 hardcore matches on the show (not counting the TLC as 1 of the 8...so there will be at least 9 matches on the show).
9) Chuck Taylor def. Egotistico Fantastico to retain the IWA Mid-South World Heavyweight Title. Good back and forth matchup that saw Chuck Taylor following the advice of Ian from last night and playing it serious as champion. He still tried to attack a baby in a stroller on his way to the ring but once the bell rang, it was all serious and all good. Ego attacked before the bell even rang diving over the ropes onto Chuck as he made his way around the ring before the match. They eventually returned to the ring and were evenly matched until Chuck was finally able to land the Awful Waffle for the pin.
10) Deranged def. Toby Klein & Tank in a 3 way Chicago Street Fight. Brutal, bloody contest that saw all three men blungeon each other with a claw hammer. Tank hit Toby on the bottom of his bare foot with the hammer and bloodied both Toby and Deranged by raking the claw part of the hammer across their foreheads. All three men also ended up taking the claw part of the hammer to the family jewels area. Tank delivered a curbstomp to Deranged into one of the green chairs that was perched up against the bottom turnbuckle. Tank then set up two chairs back to back in the center of the ring and went to pick up Toby. They struggled back and forth for control in picking each other up until Deranged hit Tank from behind and took him out of the picture. Deranged then grabbed Toby into a pump handle slam across the backs of the two chairs to get the pinfall and a bunch of momentum heading into this year's KOTDM.
