FULL CARD ANNOUNCED!!!
In May, Team Taliban not only cost Brandon Thomaselli his prized TV Title, but they also became the No. 1 contenders to the ElitePro Tag Team Titles, defeating The Ring Rydas and Sex, Drugs & Wrestling in a three-way dance.
Under the orders of Arya Daivari, "Prince" Mustafa Ali and the American Turncoat Jake O'Neill will cash in their title shot right away and have demanded a match in July. The ElitePro office was happy to oblige.
As has been mentioned, Team Taliban deliberately cost Brandon Thomaselli the ElitePro World TV Title in May. The ElitePro office has since apologized to Brandon and have awarded him an immediate rematch in July.
However, not wanting Team Taliban to stick their nose in the match again, the ElitePro office has offered Brandon Thomaselli the option to select a special ringside enforcer to make sure outside interference does not occur.
The ElitePro office were extremely impressed by the effort shown by rookie Martin Jones in May. The ElitePro Dojo's first graduate defeated Jay Jensen in a brutal "Bar Room Brawl", effectively ending his feud with Jensen.
After surviving Jensen for the last 6 months, the ElitePro office has decided that its not done testing the young grappler. In Japanese wrestling, it is common for rookies or "young boys" to be tested by the veterans on the roster in a multi-match "Trial Series". The rookie will compete in a yet undetermined number of singles matches against the top veterans in ElitePro. And unfortunately, the office has decided to start him at the top, against the current ElitePro Heavyweight Champion, Corporal Robinson. It's not about wins and losses for Martin Jones. It's about survival. If he passes this test, Martin Jones will become an "official" member of the ElitePro roster. How bad does the young man want it?
Though this will not be a title match, as has been negotiated by the champion, the match will be contested under "Juggalo Rules" meaning anything goes.
Dysfunction was the most dominant wrestler on the ElitePro roster for over 9 months. But that momentum was derailed when he elected to try and introduce a chair into his ElitePro Heavyweight Title Match against Corporal Robinson in April. That decision backfired and left Dysfunction beaten and unseated.
Wanting to show he's still at the top of his game, Dysfunction, through his manager Kimberly Kash, has asked to be matched up against one the hottest up-and-coming prospects in ElitePro.
Being a former IWA Midsouth Light Heavyweight champion, Dysfunction has asked for a match against the current champion, Jason Hades. ElitePro has agreed. The match will be a non-title bout.
In May, The Ring Rydas, Jason Hades and Corporal Robinson helped Sal Thomaselli surprise his older brother Vito by allowing him to use their wrestling gear to dupe his brother.
Obviously, Vito was beyond upset by this and when it appeared he would finally get his hands on Sal one-on-one, his younger brother still had a bombshell to drop.
Just days after the match was announced, Sal informed ElitePro offficials that he was informed by doctors that would be unable to wrestle on July 25 after hurting himself during rehab.
Instead, Vito and his close friends Ash and Kris Chambers will get a chance to exact some revenge on The Ring Rydas. Vito thought he was pulling one over on the Rydas when he got officials to agree to six-man tag match, however, Corporal Robinson quickly informed officials that he would have THREE Ring Rydas in Oak Forest on July 25 and was looking forward to seeing Sex, Drugs and Wrestling try to figure out who the third Ryda would be.
In May, Jay Jensen lost a brutal match with Martin Jones, while Michael Elgin once again failed to obtain the ElitePro Heavyweight Title from Corporal Robinson. But even in defeat, the two men found a way to reverse their fortunes, or so they believe.
Elgin offered Jensen a chance to form a tag team and go after the ElitePro Tag Team Titles, quenching both men's thirst for championships at once. The ElitePro office was quick to sign a very difficult test for the two big men, as they will take on the high-flying, exciting tag team of Acid Jaz and Marshe Rockett, The Soul Touchaz, along with their manager C-Red.
