Sorry for the very late post. We have been quite busy here. It was announced at this show that the WWA will now be running the first Sunday of every month at the Amigos Club. Great things are in store for Wicked.
Carl Morris won the opening Battle Royal, last eliminating Tank "The Dream" Escobar
Chris Hamilton defeated JT Simmons via submission with a Bearhug. WWA CEO Mel Storm came out before the match and announced that she would be reffing the match, much to J.T's surprise. She stated that she wanted to make sure that J.T would not be able to break the rules and cheat. At the start of the match, Ms. Storm was checking Chris Hamilton in the corner, when J.T. proceeded "check" Mel out. Chris informed Mel what was happening and Mel turned around and proceeded to slap J.T. and let him know in no uncertain terms that she was the CEO of the company and that she demanded respect.
Bryce Benjamin (of the Philadelphia Sex Machines) pinned Tony Scarpone with a Tornado DDT
Rion Skillz and the returning Grin defeated Syn and his mystery partner, "The Mercenary" Brandon Graves when Skillz pinned Syn with the aid of Brass Knuckles. The decision was reversed when referee Dean Cain spied the brass knuckles in the hands of a fan.
Mephisto and Shamus "Sly" McDuff battled to an Overtime Time Limit Draw. At the end of the match, they came to a draw and the fans convinced them that they needed to compete further. They went for another five minutes, much to the fans delight.
In the Steve Szoke "Die Hard Memorial Cup" tournament:
Hayden Kent eliminated Gilbert Lewis by pinfall
Christopher Kent eliminated Hayden Kent by pinfall
Angus McDuff eliminated Christopher Kent by submission
Angus McDuff eliminated Fuzion by submission
Chase Richards eliminated Angus McDuff via submission
Machine eliminated Chase Richards via pinfall
In the Final Match - Machine defeated Tristan Hayze by pinfall with the Concussion Bomb to win the Die Hard Cup
The end of the show was a very emotional moment for all, as the fans and wrestlers alike chanted thank you Steve to close the show.
