The total confusion caused by the ending of the Boz-Ego match kinda roughed up the whole crowd the rest of the night. The reasoning hasn't been mentioned and I think it should as it would make a lot more sense to people. Boz had a medical emergency and needed to end the match immediately. My guess is that when they came back out for the finish in the second half, it might have been done for the DVD... i forgot that boz did a suicide dive and his back of his head hit the metal guard railing. so it might have been the reason for the stop.

Pat pretty much hit the nail on the head with his review. I can't remember going to an AAW show and being that unhappy with the booking in a long time. Two forefits, including one that ends with a pregnancy angle? I'm not looking forward to that, because those angles usually don't work.
Priest and Chandler had the match of the night, and a good send off for Priest. I wish they would have Chandler won the match clean instead of having Mcintyre involved with the trip and finish. It's not like Priest is coming back, so it doesn't get Chandler over as much.
AAW needs more than SkullKrusher vs. Walker to sell the next show.
Oh, and Eastman is by far the most over heel in AAW after that whipping. Nobody comes close. Not even Chandler. They need to drag that NSE vs. Phoenix Twins angle out for as long as they can.
For this being AAW's biggest show of the year, they didn't fire on all cylinders that night.
I would have had Priest vs. Chandler as the main since Priest was one the main dudes that built that brand, but I can't argue with the title match being on last.
Oh yeah, and chandler knocked my White Sox hat off of my head after I told the truth to him in the sidewalk out front of the Eagles Club and said "Priest is gonna kill you." What gall. My apologies to AAW and Petkovich for not selling the hat flip better.

This was my first AAW show and I had a good time (dollar beers help ;D). From what I've read here is they had an off night, and if that's true, I can't wait to see another of their shows.
A few random thoughts:
-WWE released Silas Young? They're crazy. He's got star written all over him.
-The pregnancy angle was groan-inducing, though all involved played their roles well.
-Lynn vs. Black was very good. I'd never guess Lynn's age based on his performance. The man can still go.
-Chandler vs. McClure was good and the right guy won.
-The two forfeit finishes definitely did not go over well (although it makes sense in hindsight in Boz was hurt).

what do you mean not sell the hat flip. I'm lost Silas, ask Petkovich to see the Chandler footage he taped outdoors from the show. You'll see what I'm talking about. Oh, and if you have any doubts that Val's kid is yours, call Maury and get that DNA test, stat. Actually, that sounds funny. If you're going to run a pregnancy angle, might as well get some laughs out of it. AAW, call Maury stat.

There is also the possibility that she's, you know, actually pregnant.

Until I see the ultrasound and an actual bump (not padding), I will say WORK.
But I still say AAW should do a angle that's like the Maury show, with men also claming they're the baby's daddy and a paternity test. They can have most of the locker room claim paternity, making Valerie a total heel for sleeping around.
They can actually go plenty of ways with this. Since pregnancy angles have mostly sucked in the past, AAW should try to get some laughs out of it.

Looking back I agree with some of the negative/constructive comments made about the show. From what I understand this is AAW's signature show, however I did not get that feeling. Sound production played a huge part in that I think, especially knowing that AAW is capable of better.
I agree that Lynn/Black was good as was the whipping angle, as someone pointed out done perfectly. Kinda did not care for how the Priest match ended, but thinking back it was the right thing to do for Chandler's character going forward, should solidify his heel status.
Totally do not get the Ego thing at all. If Boz was legit hurt, then I guess they did the best they could. (I probably would have adjusted the other walk away finish) But I mean I just do not get the whole Ego with Billy Whack thing, the mask (retire it already!) is he supposed to be heel or face? I guess he needs a mouthpiece so I suppose that is why he was paired with Whack but it seemed too odd from the get-go. Ego did sound the best I have ever heard him on the mic so maybe he can build on that.
Pregnancy angle not good. If she is really pregnant then probably does not belong near a wrestling ring, just my opinion though.
Everything else was (as Randy Jackson would say) just alright for me dogg.
On the other hand good to see Chris, Rob, Larry and Todd at the show!

It is nice to see that this show is actually getting some negative reviews. This board is SO pro aaw... Agreed! By far not the best ever, and will easily be out done by other groups. (Not all mind you) The people at the bar will always be into whatever is going on because they are drunk. Toss an onion into the ring and stomp on it and the crowd goes wild!
