1) - opener is 3 way dance, featuring a Canadian Guy vs an Oriental Guy vs a Caucasian Flyer
- couldn't figure out the names, but both the Canadian Guy & the Caucasian have wrestled at shows I've seen in the last 6 weeks - for what it's worth the Canadian Guy won
2) - Golden Star & Centella De Oro (replacing the injured Quinto Sol) defeated Resistencia & Venganza
- this was a announced as a Semi-final in the Galli tag title tourny
- the Rudos arrived on Motorcycles (they opened a dock door near the back of the arena), which was a cool touch
- Rudos dominated much of the match, but lost
3) - American History Next defeated Kenn Brothers
- American History Next were very good heels, the Kenn Brothers, average
4) - El Tigre & Slayer defeated Funebre & Blade
- This was also announced as a Semi-final for the Galli title, which I think is odd, as I thought Tigre & Slayer lost in the 1st round
- a chair shot exchange after the match set up something with Blade & Slayer, but with the promos and announcing being SPanish it was hard to tell
(intermission)
the card got a bit disjointed after intermission
5) Meteoro 2 defeated El Chilango in a Mask vs Hair match
- Chilango dominateed much of the match, but lost anyhow
- they had a hard time cutting Chilango's hair, scissors were dull, which IMO if you are having a hair match, be prepared, they trimmed a bit of his hair, and I guess will do the rest later
- the promoter was the ref, and took a bit of a bump, whacking his face pretty hard on the top rope
6) Tokyo Lee, Nemesis, & Silueta Dorada defeated Amenaza Del Siglo, El Emperador, & Yakuza
- Cool spot early on as Tokyo Lee & Yakuza did a Marital Arts move exchange, not that it was great, but it was a cool thought
7) Main Event - 4 waydance, Extreme Rules for Vacant GALLI title
Tony Scarpone vs Samuray vs El Gringo Loco vs Negrotistico w/ Koa Marie
- Wild match, but this one was worth admission price in itself
- chairs, ladders, thumbtacks were some of the props
- not a weak performance from any of the 4, with Scarpone's heel schtick really standing out, at one point chasing kids around the arena, stealing one kid's Mil Mascaras mask, and wearing it himself as the kids then shifted to chasing Scarpone
- Samuray ended up winning the title, pinning Gringo Loco
- following the match, Negrotistico, Scarpone & Gringo Loco attacked Samuray - then claimed that they are now the "UNDERGROUND", setting up a match 6 man match that if the GALLI guys win, Koa Marie has to be the Valet for Samuray after that match. I think this match is going to be the next time they come to the Odeum
***
again, I felt GALLI's show was worth it, the show lagged a bit in the middle, but really got going for the main event
as for workers standing out, everyone in the Main Event was very good - they all belonged there
Silueta Dorada impressed me once again, he could be moved up into a more prominent position IMO
GALLI Tag title finals look to be Technico vs Technico, so we might be seeing a rudo/heel turn
a bit disappointing with the attendance, which was maybe 100, probably a bit under
