I've removed the rant I posted here before as I had second thoughts and decided it wasn't thought out rationally.
I've decided to pull out of this show for personal reasons. I apologize if anybody at all was looking forward to seeing me perform.

I like TD because I'm a huge fan of anybody that knows capoeira. He legit trains in that stuff.

I worked on this show over the summer. Very fun, the 21 and over show is absolutely nuts.

What's happening here is Craig wants to bring to light what are, in his mind, AAW's failed attempts to deliver. Fortunately, AAW has had plenty of shows without Danielson or Lynn and still delivered a quality product. Hell, everyone advertised on the flyer could be pulled and we would still deliver.

I eagerly await Knight Wagner's speech/rant about this show I like wrestling where I live and making money because I don't have to pay for gas or on the road food expenses. At the end of the day, that is more important than just about anything and a rare opportunity for me.

From a business perspective, well, there are tricks to using names like him to make your money back in ways you couldn't with others. He's considered a "name" now? He is a world champion on a televised wrestling program. At the very least, you can sell polaroids.

Different arguments to this, I think. Mine is, having TB on a show helps because all that international traveling, ROH title holding, PWI high ranking indy superstardom is something that he has that nobody else on the Dreamwave roster has, except for Boz I guess. Arguably, it may not mean anything to the casual fan but neither does having a picture of anybody else on that roster on the flyer if we're going that route. Tyler has a lot of history, background and achievements to hype on fliers, online, ads, whatever your fancy is. It means SOMETHING.
As for his talent level? Matter of opinion but the majority seems to think he's damn good. From a business perspective, well, there are tricks to using names like him to make your money back in ways you couldn't with others. He's an investment in the end and like any good business owner should, you can think of ways to turn him into a profitable one. For my two cents worth, easy decision on this one.

The fact that AAW--a fed known for their dollar beers, hot ladies, wild violent barbed-wire brawls, the occasional use of foul language, implicit endorsement of homosexuality (Eastman, Corbin, Cruz), and the random gyrations of Krotch--is even playing a church is ROFL-inducing. Now that I've spelled all this out, I expect somebody from PWN to use the old indy-style tactic of "anonymous phone calls" to get this show kicked out of the church. I hope it won't happen, but I'm not stupid. Does this church even have a clue what they're getting themselves into? Or are they making AAW tone it down for this show? I'm dumbfounded. Is IWA-MS playing a synagogue next? That would make Sox extra happy. Unless they book it on the Sabbath. I think I can say a few words on this one. As far as the feel of the building is concerned, it definitely isn't what you would expect. I find it to be almost as perfect as you can get for an indy wrestling show, though it isn't quite the same feel as the Eagles club. As far as I know (don't quote me on this, I only briefly met the guy from the church), he's well up to speed on everything. I believe that he stopped by the show on the 21st or at least had intentions to and if not, I would expect he was given the website URL or a DVD or something. The biggest challenge promoting this show will be convincing fans that a pro wrestling show at a church will be at all entertaining but when you step foot in this building and see for yourself what's going on, doubt will be erased.

By my own admission, the first one was terrible. The second one wasn't that bad. The third one, I have had a theory presented to me that Madman's back fat absorbed most of the blow and muffled the sound. It sounds plausible.

I reccomend purchase of the DVD of this show for Knights chairshots to Shane alone. Most brutal chairshots in the history of wrestling. Where they to the head? Hunter was being sarcastic. Fact: Hunter is a dick. Fact: That was my first time giving anybody the business with a chair. Fact: I aggravated my shoulder injury in my last AAW match. Yes, these are all excuses. No, I don't care.

Eh, I guess I can give some. These are off the top of my head so I might forget a match. There was a tournament to crown the new SCW Champion.
Shane Hollister def. Knight Wagner in a six star classic (on a five star scale) to advance in the tournament.
Hunter Matthews wins an over-the-top battle royal to advance in the tournament.
Marek Brave def. Tank Roberts to advance in the tournament.
Krotch def. Danny Daniels to advance in the tournament.
The Hybrids def. Zero Gravity
The Phoenix Twins def. Jordan McEntyre and Mason Beck
Marek Brave def. Krotch to advance in the tournament.
Shane Hollister def. Hunter Matthews by DQ after The Chosen (Marek Brave, Mason Beck, Knight Wagner, Jordan McEntyre) attack Shane. After a pair of chair shots by Knight and a TKO by Mason Beck onto the chair, Shane was deemed to be in no condition to compete by referee Sean Morrow. Jake Ryder declared Marek Brave the winner and new SCW Champion, however, Mark Storm informed everybody that he felt The Chosen may have had a trick up their sleeve and attempt something like this so had a replacement lined up to take Shane's place in the final match, leading to...
The Mississippi Madman def. Marek Brave to become the new SCW Champion.

I can actually confirm Styles' statement. My mom lives near Columbus Junction and I've been in town for Columbus Days. There are hundreds of people wandering around taking in all the stuff there is to do, the rides, etc. They will be there to watch some wrestling, too.
