Ed Chuman is a good guy, with his own style, a walking encyclopedia in this business. People are always going to SEVERE TIES with each other, and there is absolutley nothing wrong with that. A lot of people can learn from him!

Yes there will be. In fact we're in negotiations with Blue Demon Jr. to bring the match with The Sheik to Cicero Stadium. We never wanted the match to be canceled in the 1st place, but at the time it was unavoidable. As soon as we have a new date we'll post the new info.

Finally some good news. The timing might be perfect considering Blue Demon Jr's title reign recently had coverage in a mainstream American wrestling magazine.

I don't see why it would. If you give people what they want to see they'll turn out. Also we need some lead time to promote the show properly. Need to stay away from Christmas as well.

Cold weather days are usually the bigger draws.(i.e.see Congress Jan. 2005.) As most familys are doing things outside in warmer weather.

I have actually noticed that in recent years attendance at the shows have dropped in times of bad weather. The only shows I saw that pulled good numbers in winter weather were shows featuring Wagner Jr vs La Park, so I do believe weather has played a part in how good attendance is. I have also spoken with people who go to the lucha shows and often times their excuses for not going do include bad weather as an example. Keep in mind people are sometimes made to wait outside in long lines before entering the building [usually due to the problem of the promters never starting the shows at the time they promise] so if you factor in winter weather some people might not want to spent time waiting to get into a wrestling show.

Attrendence for lucha shows in colder weather... (i.e. under 40)
Is generally 35-50% higher than in warmer weather.

That isn't so accurate. As I have siad before the only shows in Winter that have drawn big featured Wagner and La Parka. Most other lucha shows in Winter in my experience haven't been huge draws. Also keep in mind that so close after Christmas most of the people who tend to go to lucha shows are usually strapped for cash. It's a damned shame they couldn't have gotten this card done this past weekend as originally planned as it will most likely be the last weekend of good weather we will see until late April 2010.

ok , lets go with 13-24%. Either way numbers are up in colder weather for lucha.
