To The CLPW Village, check out my newest thread called "CLPW Stand-Up" on the General section of this website. Get to know manager Ryland Foxx more as well as 3 newcomers to CLPW. Read about the thoughts from fans attending their first CLPW show and other info as well.
Don't forget that on May 22nd, "Mr. 450" Hammet flies into East Dundee, IL.

THE GREATEST & Mr. Polo should be the odds-on favorites to win this tournament -- unless "the fix" is in. Will anchov be able to find his way to East Dundee?

Will Howie be able to find his way out of the malt shop? I'd like to see Howie get a kick in his 350 by "Mr. 450".

Hate to provide a "spoiler," but anchov WILL NOT be on the waiting list for the "Green Dream Team's" victory party (on an undisclosed planet).

The Poisonous Anchovie recently caught up with "Mr. 450" Hammett at a recent indy show. He was more than thrilled to be my next guest on my newest talk show "CLPW: Stand-Up". The interview will air after the May 22nd show in East Dundee. "Mr. 450" will be teaming up with fellow Puerto Rican Billy Starr. Billy is currently training under "Mr. 450" so a teacher-student tag team will make things interesting.
Another team in the tournament that should be fun to watch is CLPW break-out star Jayson Kross and the newest CLPW star that has "danced" his way into the hearts of the cLPW Village in Texas Pete from Oregon.

Glad that anchov gets to satisfy his latest man crush. Maybe one of these months he'll "interview" an established star in CLPW -- as will always be the case with Howie's Hot Seat!

Howard...Are you saying that Hammet 450 is not an established star?

Not at all. Just that he hasn't been a "regular" on CLPW shows since I've been attending them -- in contrast to say, Johnny Armonni, Trademark, Double-G, Boz, you, et al. An analogy: Dos Caras, Jr. is an "established star" in CMLL, but he is not -- yet -- in WWE.
I've seen Mr. 450 in action for another promotion, and he looked impressive. I commend the new CLPW majority owner for recruting him for the 5/22 show, and I hope he'll become a CLPW "regular" in the future.

A couple off CLPW regulars that are odds on favorites have to be Jarod Priest and the current CLPW Light HeavyWeight Champion J.T. Simmons. These two have had some great matches in CLPW as well as other promotions. I know very little of Victorious Secrets but they will have their hands full with Simmons/Priest.
Another team that is new to CLPW but not the indy scene are the Soul Touchaz in Acid Jazz and Willie "Da Bomb" Richardson. These guys have been all over the indy scene including WCPW and Chikara. Richardson is a former WCPW Champion. The CLPW Village is in for a treat when these guys invade CLPW.
The buzz continues to grow in the CLPW Village as "Mr. 450" Hammett gets ready to dive into CLPW action. He currently holds the International title from NWA Lucha. He may be displaying the title at the show. Would make great photo-op opportunities for the fans at intermission as photographer Jim Strong will be on hand.
