This is the lamest excuse for a benefit show I've ever heard of. If I'm not mistaken Ricky is "in trouble" for not paying child support. I have no trouble with benefit shows for a guy who has smoe medical bills or something else like that but he could have totally controlled this situation by taking care of his kids and not shirking his parental duties. He's obviously not spending any of his wrestling paydays on haircuts since he's had the same one for 25 years.

www.helprickymorton.org/intro.htm"For the past 30+ years Ricky has put his body on the line to entertain the fans, giving his all for a sport he loves. Now we are asking all of Ricky's fans to join several of his co-workers in support of helping Ricky out of a bad personal situation. As many of you know Ricky is currently jailed in Murfreesboro, TN and will not be released until we can raise $74,465 in his behalf. Ricky is not a dead beat dad, he's just a victim of adverse circumstances beyond his control. The children in question in this case are 23, 20 and 17 and the case is being prosecuted by the state of TN, not Ricky's fist wife. The divorce decree was issued in 1991 when Ricky was with WCW and since that time he has had a much lower income. That is part of the reason that Ricky had gotten so far behind with the payments."

I gotta bust him on this one. Ricky you are a deadbeat dad. Since you are making so much less now then when the divorce went through you go back to the judge sate your case and they will lower the amount of child support that you would have to pay.

I have to add my worthless opinion here.....Ricky Morton did not run up that tab overnight...it took years to do that. One question? Seriously...not one word about the children that were financially strapped while this meter was running. The R&R Express made a ton ..a ton of money and Ricky Morton did not pay child support for one reason...in order to indulge in his selfish habits. IMO, to give one cent for this "cause" borders on the obscene

Ricky was payin just could not pay what he was orderd to pay by courts that is why his ex-wife did not take him back to court and the court picked up the case she knew he was payin what he could

Then I propose a Ric Flair benefit to get him out of trouble with the IRS and help him with his divorce...........same twisted logic in which a person gets himself in a jam,,,,right?
