All this being said, someone HAS to go to this show tomorrow night, just to provide a first-hand account of how crapawful it is (or, to be fair, isn't) I would go to the show tomorrow, gladly paying for a ticket to report it openly and honestly, but I'm banned for LIFE! But, you can purchase their shows on DVD (probably burned) discs for the low low price of $15. I have no idea on the production values on said DVD's so purchase at your own risk. The money, most likely will immediately go into Mike Thompsons pocket to purchase the newest and latest toy or gizmo for his promotion instead of actually paying his wrestlers. Which brings up another topic, how many of you actually worked for him and got paid? |

I don't understand people... I really don't care what someone has done to you in the past or what you think of what they have done it still doesn't give you the right to treat them like the nerds you teased in school... hasn't anyone grown up since then...
I will say I posted on this board by my own free will and if you want to believe that be my guest if not so be it... I really don't care what you think of me because I am who I am and that is all there is to it....

Whatever, I've heard Morty bash guys from long ago. Maybe what you said would come into play here but to this day Morty bashes people to his trainees, probably so they won't leave and go elsewhere but the fact remains. I could care less.

I have been sitting back and reading along at everything posted in this thread. Might I say, some of it has been rather amusing, and some of it ridiculous (anyone who praises Mortimier The Fat Clown). However, I do have something I would like to add to all of this.
First off, whiskeyk be real! How the heck are you going to sit back and say that it doesn't matter what someone does to you in the past ... what only matters is the future. Bullcrap! Other's actions in the past dictate how we view them in the present and future.
Secondly, Mortimier (the fat clown) is just that - a clown! He is the biggest peice of garbage in this business today. It's people like Morty that give indy wrestling such a bad rap. Not to mention he is nothing more than a fat, lazy, bald, toothless white man who has done nothing; and never will do anything - period! I, for one, am embarassed to say that I know who this boy is. YUCK! GROSS! PUKE!
Then again it's plainly obivous why I can't work there - embarassed to admit that I did at one time:
1) I am too skinny - isn't there a law against pregnant chicks wrestling?
2) I have all my hair and teeth - I knew there was a reason I have dental insurance!
3) I don't smell bad - a daily shower always seems to get the job done!
4) I have self respect - intergrity is a key factor to life!
5) I CAN WORK A MATCH DAMN IT!!!! - hence why it is called SPORTS entertainment!
So before you go and get all "Morty is Righteous" on us get your facts straight. Morty has done nothing but screw people over left and right. He bashes people behind their backs, and doesn't have the granolas to say it to anyone's face. He had a beef with me, and had that iron man of his call me up; all the while he was screaming in the background. I'm convinced Morty is homosexual .... Robin Hood and his Lassies is more like it!
Morty run's nothing more than an amatuer circus act. Nothing but a bunch of kids playing dress up in their backyard. I did that too - when I was kid; but then I grew up! Doesn't anyone get the obivous? It makes sense - if the whole world has a problem with one person ... it's probably that person not the world who needs to change.
Here's a brief Mortimier and Iron Man story:
The first time I worked a show for Morty he wanted to me this "contract". Dude, this is indy wrestling (no "contracts" in the indies) and a "contact" insinuates payment (HA! Morty pay someone-fat chance from the fat man!). Anyways, so I look at this HOT PINK "contract" and I say, "did you realize that there is a typo, a misspelling?" He looks at me and says, "Robin!" Then goes on some rampage about spelling. Did I mention it was the very first word of this "contract". I about died from laughter. It was news to me that the word "therefore" was spelled "thurefoure".
Then again Morty is confused by the difference between a "Family Friendly" show and a "Family Only" show. Mortimier The Fat Clown sucked then and Mortimier The Fat Clown sucks NOW!

Whiskeyk, I hope you tell Morty that same line when he goes on bad mouthing other wrestlers and don't say he doesn't anymore cause I've heard alot from guys who have came through there. Your all a bunch of hypocrites if you ask me.

whiskeyk is one of the many fat, out of shape grapplers (that isn't under a hood) that works for Morty & Robin, the Thompson Twins. This is why she sticks up for him.

You know if you all spent HALF as much time in gym as you do one these message boards - you probably would be taken a tad more seriously .... just some food for thought .....

I forgot...here's a good one. Morty once sent me an e-mail pretending to be WI promoter Chris Bassett, calling me every name in the book. Quite amusing really, especially considering I've worked regularly for Chris for years. He signed it as Chris, and I think he even spelled his last name wrong. Well, there was one problem, besides the obvious....
Apparently Morty didn't know a whole lot about e-mail, as right near the top of the page, next to the senders' address, in big letters appeared: "MIKE AND ROBIN THOMPSON".
By the way, I am pretty certain I have that e-mail saved on my old computer back at my folks' house in Chicago. I would be glad to copy and paste it on here as an illustration as to just how special these folks are. I want to say this was around 2002 that it was sent. I forwarded it to as many people as I could so that the entire Midwest could enjoy a good laugh at Morty's expense.

Here's one .... Apparently Morty doesn't know much about phones either; nor does Robin. They called me one time , said they were some law firm and were threatening to sue me for $20.00 out of their "till". The funny thing is that it was llike a 6 minute voicemail - which I still have for anytime I need a great laugh. So when I called them back, they denied the whole thing. I suggested that they use *67 next time - to block their number prior to the call.
Then again wasn't this circus act suppose to move to Florida a few months back? I heard they were all going to live in Morty's house ..... I am dead serious too ......

Jersey, you can tell all the PHPW stories you want(lol, we all know there's alot of good ones). But I love how in your posts on here and the Milwaukee Wrestlings board you always make yourself out to be some great veteran worker. When in actual reality, the only thing i've ever seen you work is the Merch. Table at BCW shows. You've been on the wrestling scene less than two years and have probably had less than 10 matches. Sorry everyone else. I didn't mean to sidetrack you guys from telling some more funny PHPW stories. Keep them comin!
