Yes the show is still on.If it wasn't I would have already posted it here[and if not me someone else].As for advanced tickets they are selling some at ALAMEDA WESTERN WEAR which is located a few doors down from the Congress Theater.

Hey all...newbie to your boards here but a long time fan ( and sometimes participant) of wrestling. I have not been to a lucha show since Los Globos ran on the west side in the late 80's. Those were great shows...lots of drinking there though. I wish it was on an earlier start as well...work/school night and all. Is this near the old Coppernicus? It sounds familiar? well great to talk to some wrestling fans. Happy New Year everyone ;D

I've been hearing about a Congress Lucha show on the 27th... does anyone know if that's true?

First I've heard any lucha show on the 27th.
As fro the Congress Theater it is located a few blocks off of the intersections of Armitage,Western and Milwaukee avenue.It is conveniantly located a few blocks off of the blue line WESTERN and CALIFORNIA stops on the north side.

Need another good reason to go to this show?
The promoters want to bring in really big names from CMLL for the next show in March.I have heard that they are talking to Mistico and also to....wait for it....Shocker!!!The thing is they really need for this show to bring in a good crowd,and hopefully enough money,to justify paying those guys to come up.So for all of those who complain that they never really bring in the big names from Mexico[that means you "Charlieespinosa"!] it's in your power to ensure that main eventers from Arena Mexico come in March.Simply attend this show on Sunday and hopefully there will be enough ticket buyers that some profit is made thus enabling the promoters to pay the big names to come in March.It's that simple.
